Always look for something a little different when we travel and had heard the Blue Dome district is kind of eclectic; so looked for a place to eat. Actually used the Blue Dome website. It mentioned Yokozuna and I noticed it had a sushi happy hour daily from 3-6 pm where many of their sushis were half off. Good time to try something when it is happy hour. The restaurant is easy to find and was pretty empty when we got there. Sat at the sushi bar so we could watch the chef. The rolls are not traditional, so be aware. And from what I could gather there are no hand rolls. The aforementioned half off sushis are limited in quantity, but flavorful and filling. We ordered off the regular menu also and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and size of the orders. Highlights, were the Yokozuna Pops (look like a Tootsie Pop complete with stick), Hot Mess Roll (very good and large), Blue Dome roll, and the Geisha's Demise (watch out for the "evil sauce" very spicy hot. There were about 10 people in the place and unfortunately only one chef working; so things were a little slow in coming out, but it allowed us to watch him work. Thought this might be a big problem if the place was filled, but as we were leaving which was closer to the dinner "rush" another chef came on duty; so probably not a problem. They have other things besides sushi, e.g noodles, etc. Don't know how they are. They have a website
www.yokozunasushi.com. If you like sushi, it is worth a try.
