“Good Coffee and Snacks”
Reviewed November 20, 2013

Visited on a cool day in the mood for good coffee, and they fit the bill nicely. Dirty Chai was very good, along with the Pterodactyl and Prosciutto and brie sandwiches. Be prepared though - it is a little pricey and parking is a chore. Atmosphere? Small and quaint.

“Unique atmosphere and great coffee!”
Reviewed September 15, 2013 via mobile

Very earthy and rustic atmosphere, great place to hang and relax for a little while. The coffee was very good as well, the blends are roasted and blended very well. Outside patio looked great too

“Fun, relaxing place to be”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

CHOCS has a fun, casual atmosphere, with semi-eclectic, semi-vintage furnishings. There are tables and chairs as well as comfortable lounge chairs and sofas. Local art often hangs from the walls. There's plenty of outdoor seating on the deck, which is nice as long as it's not 100 degrees outside.

It is definitely a hip place, and a lot of the patrons are students from the University of Tulsa. However, there is plenty of diversity, and people of all ages and of all personalities love CHOCS. I find the employees, patrons, and overall vibe much less pretentious and adolescent than at Shades of Brown. CHOCS is relaxed and fun.

Their drinks are good, and reasonably priced. They have a lot of delicious desserts (a little more pricy). Their sandwiches are also pretty good, but you can get more for your money elsewhere.

There's sometimes some good live music.

Parking is a little scarce; you may have to park down the side street a little ways.

Be warned: on Saturday mornings, there's a farmer's market on Cherry Street that can make access to CHOCS difficult.

“Great atmosphere, coffee, and food.”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

First, the coffee: they use Doubleshot Coffee, roasted here in Tulsa under strict guidelines, and they brew it well. Even in a latte or a cappuccino, the flavor of the coffee provides a tasty foundation for the additional flavorings.

CHOCS serves very tasty sandwiches, soups, and breakfast items. They make great quiches. To be honest...I can heartily recommend anything they have to offer.

There are several options here for vegetarians and vegans. I like their breakfast cookies, which are noted to be vegan (I'm not, but I like these).

Customer service here is good. Especially in the early morning hours, it's common to see the same faces coming in for coffee and breakfast, and the CHOCS crew even know some of their customers by name.

Definately try this place out. It's one of Tulsa's jewels.
