“My First Trip To Tulsa”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

First I would like to say what a pleasant stay and the best kept secret. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. The room was especially great and it was nice to stay at a historical site. Everything was conveniently located and you can find your way around with little effort. The valet parking was exceptional. The grill at the end of the lobby has fantastic food.
I will return again to finish my exploration. Please keep up the good work and continued success.

Room Tip: I stayed on the seventh floor which has key card access. A good safety measure.

The hotel experience I had here was wonderful, and that was in a large part due to Joe. Joe is one of the gentlemen who works at the front desk. He was always very eager to help, greeted us every time we stepped foot into the reception area, remembered us whenever we saw him, and was just an all around friendly and helpful guy. If you stay here, make sure you talk to Joe. He seems to work nights. As for the rest of the hotel, the cleaning service was great - they never messed with my belongings that I had left out. The set up of the room was pleasing. They had free wireless (which was also password free, so that was one less hassle), free HBO, and nice desk space. I wish they would have had a microwave, but they did have a mini-fridge, so that was nice. All around, I had a great experience here. Thanks again mostly to Joe!

Just left another visit to Tulsa and, once again, was impressed with this hotel! Conveniently located in downtown (& to the airport & the Univ. of Tulsa), it's easy enough to get in and out whether using their valet service or parking on the streets (free on weekends). The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. Had to use the laundry services this time and although a bit pricey $3/load, the laundry room was clean and didn't take too long. The hotel rooms are spacious as are the bathrooms. The beds are soft (which I don't like, but my husband & son do) and the A/C works great! Can't wait for our next visit to Tulsa & this hotel!

We had a two day meeting in the Titan Board Room. The room was great, the accommodations were perfect and the actual hotel rooms were fun and modern. The staff was very accommodating and easy to work with. When doing these types of events, something is bound to go wrong, but that wasn't the case here for our group. Everyone was pleasanlty surprised and intend to use this historical hotel in the future.

This is by far the best hotel of its class in Tulsa, maybe even the region. The employees of this location should do the training for the entire corporation. There is always a warm yet professional greeting in the 2nd floor lobby. Very courteous and accommodating attitude is shown by all other staff as well. The rooms are kept beautifully and extra clean, yet the housekeeping staff is quiet and unobtrusive.
The atmosphere in this location is like none other in the world. The integrity is fully intact of the historic 1922 Atlas Life Building. The Courtyard by Marriott has the good sense to have left the beautiful first floor and lobby intact, complete with the renowned Atlas Grill and it's delicious food.
The building's original marble is displayed as much as possible throughout the premises. Located amongst Tulsa's gorgeous 1920's architecture, The Courtyard by Marriott @ the Atlas Life building deserves merit as a destination, worth a visit if only to experience the grace and charm that is downtown Tulsa at its finest.

Arrived on a hot Sunday afternoon. Downtown is pretty desolate on weekends apparently. In the old Atlas Life Insurance building which is kind of neat. Valet parking is free on weekends and was handled promptly. Room was large and clean. Beds were comfortable and shower / bathroom were in good condition. Workout room is small but clean and stocked with little bottles of water and towels.

Little extra ... Coming out of the workout room the desk clerk asked how my workout was, saw I was carrying a little bottle of water, and gave me a big, cold bottle out of the refreshment stand at no charge.

Extra #2 ... The Atlas Grill is on the first floor of the same building. A really neat place for breakfast.

Room Tip: This is an old building downtown, so it is squeezed between other buildings. If you want a view, as...

We stayed at this hotel because we had a groupon for it. It's in the Atlas life building, there weren't too many signs telling you that the Marriott was in the building. There's only a valet outside, which they take your car immediately and then you walk into the Atlas Life building. The hotel lobby is on the 2nd floor, but when we walked in we didn't see any signs for it or where to go. There was a woman sitting on a couch who told us that we had to go up the elevators to the 2nd floor. The hotel lobby was very nice looking, lots of couches, and tables to relax at. They had a little "bistro" which served starbucks and some food. They also had a fitness center and a few computers for guests to use.
I don't normally stay at 'expensive' hotels, so I'm not use to what's standard for them. The front desk attendant was very nice and very helpful. Our room was on the 6th floor, and you have to use your key card to operate the elevator. Plus it moves very fast and comes to a fast stop, it made me slightly ill using it all the time. The room itself was a little small I thought, but very nice and pretty. It had a wet bar area with a mini fridge, a desk and a big closet. The view wasn't pretty either, we faced another building and there were bars on the windows. The shower was really nice, it had good water pressure. The bed itself was very nice too, it was soft and very comfortable.
The only downside is there is no continental breakfast or something, only that the bistro serves breakfast each day. And the hotel is located downtown which is great if you're only staying in downtown and walking everywhere. Otherwise you have to get your car out of valet all the time to go anywhere. But there are lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance of the hotel.
