My boyfriend surprised me with a nights stay here. I had no idea what he had gotten us into, but boy, what I surprised! The Mayo is elegant extraordinaire. I loved that it had so much history and they showcased it as well. We had a huge room, it was like a mini home away from home...just a lot nicer. Lol. We had a large kitchen and living area with a dining nook attached. The bathroom was off of the bedroom and all were spacious. I especially loved how much floor space was in the bathroom so there was no elbowing going on. The walk in showers are wonderful. Everything is up to the nines. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and cozy. By far my boyfriend spent too much spoiling me, but I loved every minute of it! We also stopped in the bar on the way back to the room that night, and it was nice as well. All in all, very fun and I would love to stay again.
