“Have attended many events there”

Cox Business Center
Reviewed November 8, 2012

This is just a very class place. We have attended a number of events there and were very impressed with the cleanliness. The rest rooms were well taken care of, not the case with many big venues. We attended both entertainment and health related events at the Center.

Just another building the City of Tulsa has built and let run down. As the old saying goes "It Ain't What It Used To Be". Don't waste your time.

I was in Tulsa to see Neil Young. The facility was nice enough, but it hasn't been updated in a long time. For the warm-up band, we sat very close to the stage, and the acoustics were lousy. For Neil Young, we moved to the back of the arena, and even though we couldn't see him as well, the sound was a lot better.

I came to the Tulsa Convention Center for the 2012 National Zarrow Mental Health Symposium. Being from Chicago, I was surprised that this event would be at such an apparently out of the way city. However, upon arrival, I found the meeting facilities to be clean, spacious and comfortable, the staff very hospitable, with good audio-visual support for presenters.

I saw dozens of concerts here over the years. Just about every genre and style of music there is. A nice concert hall, although a little on the small side, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially when they finally went to reserved seating many years ago. It hasn't the charm of the Old Lady or the accessibility of the Mabee Center, but a good place to see a concert, once you were able to get there.
