Lovely grounds. Italian style mansion converted to museum. Nice restaurant as well, but did not go. Sort of reminded me of a Tulsa-sized Nelson-Adkins Museum (Kansas City). Kids under 18 are free, which is nice. This was donated by the Phillips (66) family, who also donated the Philmont Boy Scount ranch, and huge landscape of Cimarron and quite a bit of Indian art amongst a fairly broad coverage from Ancient Greece/Roman Empire/Egypt, to modern. Really enjoyed it.

We had an amazing time at the museum. We had our two middle school age children with us and they loved reading the story of the home and how it became a museum. We all loved the intimate settings for all the art and exploring the building. But we were simply unprepared for the gorgeous gardens in back that took our breath away. We spent two hours enjoying the gardens, walking through the trees and hidden areas that just seem to keep going. We'll be back.

The Tulsa Philbrook Museum of Art is a Tulsa landmark easily recognized by locals and visitors alike. The museum is wonderful. They are always having a revolving exhibit monthly that keeps it fresh and adds to the experience. Once a month they have a family day with excellent artistic presentations and childrens activities. I think this museuam is a great place for families in the Tulsa are.

Outstanding collection of the best impressionistic art in the country. The collection continues to change monthly. Go! Enjoy seeing what the rest of world wishes it looked like.

We had a great time at the museum. The museum has a day where kids and families get in free. I think its the 2nd Saturday of every month. They gave my kids an art kit in which every month we attend they receive a new art utensil. The museum tries to make things exciting so they had an activity table, and scavenger hunt for the kids to accomplish. My kids really had a blast and we will be returning next month.
