This historic building is a must-see if you are a fan of unique architecture. Check out the Art-Deco praying hands all over the top of the building and the Terra Cotta figures of Methodist Circuit Riders. You should visit their web site for more information on the congregation and on the architecture and history of the building.

If you are into Art Deco, or architecture, or churches...you need to get over to this beacon of Deco and study it's amazing lines. One of my favorites pictures I have taken in the last ten years...and I travel and photograph what I see a lot, is of this church. I stood up the street a bit so I could get the entire front and west side of the church in the picture. Then I spent about two hours in "photoshop" getting rid of the millions of power lines that surround this church. Absolutely amazing.

A beautiful Art Deco cathedral, unlike any other. Both the inside and the outside are remarkable. The pipe organ is magnificent

This is a very beautiful church with super nice church staff working there. Parking is on the south side of the church. To start the tour first visit the welcome center located in the older part of the church, on the east side, under the drive through (much easier to find than it sounds). We visited on a Monday morning and were given materials to help us understand the features of the church. We overheard the receptionist on the phone asking someone to turn the lights on in the sanctuary "because we have visitors". They are justifiably proud of their facility and thankfully are willing to share it with anyone who is interested. We walked around for a little over an hour. There are interesting displays about the church's history. The art deco is incredible as are the three huge Italian mosaics - a total of over 1.25 million tiles! Be sure to go up in the balcony for an overview of the sanctuary.

A recent Sunday service here for us as out-of-towners was very nice. the church is amazing to look at, the music in the service outstanding. A departure for us as we usually attend Church on the Move, while in Tulsa. We do love the contemporary ministry of COTM!
