Only stopped by it many years ago while in the downtown Tulsa area, just to look at it up close. The outside of the building is absolutely awesome to look at. I would expect the inside to look the same. It probably has excellant acoustics, as most building built around the same time did. Attending church services there must be a truly exhilarating experience.

Boston Avenue is one of the most beautiful churches I have ever been in. Dr. Mouzon Biggs one of the most inspirational ministers I have ever known. One of the first female architects designed it. Truly something to see if not attending services just go take a look at it's beauty.

As we were driving around downtown we stopped to look at this interesting building. It is beautiful and different than any other church I have seen. This church was completed in 1929 and form more information on tours visit the link below:

This is a classic piece of architecture from the art deco period. If you are interested in that, you shouldn't miss it. It is also a good example of the kind of huge churches that were built in downtowns of cities around the country during the early part of the 1900's, when the church was a civic center and there would be all kinds of concerts, lectures, etc. there.
