An obviously older hotel but the bed was comfortable and the linens fresh. Overall the room was clean. The refrigerator did freeze everything we put in it (the following day's lunch) which was unfortunate. About as good as it gets for a $50 per night hotel room.

We stayed at the La Quinta East for six days and were delighted with the room and the staff. They were unfailingly courteous and helpful and the room was kept clean and well serviced. The maintenance man arrived soon after we got there and brought not only the refrigerator we had requested but a microwave too. The breakfast was excellent every morning and the lobby where we ate was bright and pleasant. Not only did we enjoy our stay but we had friends who were staying on for a few days after our convention was over and they moved in on our recommendation. We received a phone call from them thanking us for sending them to such a good place. We send our thanks to the hotel staff from their Canadian friends!

The carpeting was soaking wet and the bathroom was filthy, with an inoperable light/fan and rust and dirt all over the bathtub. I was moved to a room that was better, but not terribly clean...staff was very kind and apologetic. Not in the best part of town...

I stayed here one night with a friend. We were attending a HANSON members-only event and booked a little late, so the only double room available was a smoking room. The smell didn't seem that bad until I tried to sleep and it seemed to be in the sheets. The room was older with a few cracks here and there, but clean. Breakfast included juices, coffee, muffins, bagels, waffles and boiled eggs. The motel's location was a little farther than I would have liked to be from downtown Tulsa--about 8 minutes. The room price seemed a little high considering the distance and the accommodations, but not too bad for a city the size of Tulsa. Several restaurants are located nearby.

My husband and I were driving cross country with our dog, moving. We love the fact that LaQuinta's do not charge pet fees. It makes it very expensive when you have to pay anywhere from $25-$50 for a pet fee for one night, so we booked all LaQuintas for the trip since they don't charge pet fees. With that said, there were what appeared to be animal urine stains on the carpet of our room (needless to say, I wore shoes the entire time). Later that night we were kept awake by what sounded like high school kids having a party in the room above us. We called the front desk after midnight since we had to get up early to keep driving and unfortunately the noise continued until 1:30. The continental breakfast was nice and my husband said the staff was nice as well. Besides the stains on the floor, the rest of the room was decent, considering it truly was just a place for us to sleep for the night.

I have recently began staying at LaQuinta Inns. On a recent trip, I stayed in four different ones. This was the best of them all. It is nothing spectacular, but is adequate for one's needs. The check-in was prompt and courteous. The door key was a little difficult to use and the room a little old looking. The hotel is next to a large parking area for a grocery store, restaurants, etc. We had a second story room so we had to lug our luggage up and down the stairs. There were not indoor corridors. The breakfast was adequate and included waffles that you make yourself. Checkout was quick. I paid $55.80 for the room which is an AAA rate for two beds for three people.

I have stayed at La Quinta's before and always had good experiences especially when booking through orbitz or hotwire. However this was an unfortunate exception. I reserved a smoking room with a king size bed and check in was at 1:00pm. We were not able to get our room until 4:30. We had little sleep in the last 24 hours as well as a long drive, and the best they could offer was a two twin non-smoking, which was quite a down grade. We decided to stick with what we paid for. Our room was on the third floor. The parking lot does not offer adequate room facing parking, so we had to hike to the elevator and stairs. The elevator proved to be in terrible shape. My partner has experience with elevator repair and installation and refused to take it again after the first trip up. When we got to our room the cleaning lady was still trying to finish up. The room was ok, pretty clean and the ac was a welcomed relief. The door was was difficult to open and close. The free breakfast was good considering you get what you paid for. The pool was being "balanced" so its good that we weren't hoping to go swimming during our stay.

The location is good because of the 24 hour Reasor's food store nearby as well as a few dining options. The wireless internet was great.
