Review of Joseppi's Italian Kitchen - CLOSED

We were there on a slow, summer Friday night, so there was no excuse for the poor service we received. Having to ask twice for our drinks and for butter to be delivered is once too many. The food we ordered, including chicken parmagiana, was uninspired and the most bland of Italian fare. Trading on the Eskimo Joe's name, Joseppi's is not worth a special visit.

I have been here several times, and the complimentary bread is amazing. The service is always decent and the food, despite a long wait, is always edible. I'm just not impressed. Nothing about Joseppi's goes above or beyond the call, I don't think, other than the interior decoration. It realizes that it has automatic draw with the Joe's reputation and a captive customer base on game days and that there are no real competitors in town, especially so convenient to campus. If you're in town I'd recommend it, but it's not far above average.

This is an Eskimo Joe chain. The food is just average with average service. The restaurant is a college hang out.

The food was very good. The service was at times a little slow, but they were very busy and the young lady that took care of us was very apologetic and very pleasant

My husband said this dining experience was one of the best he's had in a very long time. We did have a bit of wait, but we went on a Friday night, and it's pretty close to the college campus, so that was expected. We ordered the pasta nachos for an appetizer and split one of the pasta dishes. The meal also came with bread before dinner, and there was oil and vinegar on the table. We lucked out and had an unbelievable server. She didn't seem the least bit annoyed that we split an entree (which we did, because we also wanted to try the nachos, and knew we couldn't eat both). She even split the entree onto two separate plates for us. Nothing struck our fancy for dessert, so we didn't order it.

If we are ever back in Stillwater, we will definitely visit Joseppi's again!
