The room was decent, and the bed fairly comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. While they offer the ubiquitous breakfast station, we passed. There were several cheerleading and cross country teams there for competitions. Not surprisingly, they had trouble keeping up with hungry teenagers. I would certainly consider staying here again.

Love that there's a train table in the lobby, what a wonderful idea! Kept my 2 year old entertained.

Pros:
- The staff I met was very friendly and helpful.
- The night before a home football game, they had a "tailgate" area set up in the lobby with free food, corn hole and beer for purchase.
- Shower had good pressure with a nice showerhead where you could adjust the spray pattern. Not something you get in most hotels. The bathroom was nice, compared to the room itself.

Cons:
- While the staff is friendly, they're fighting an uphill battle against a poor facility:
- Rooms are outdated, sheets looks straight out of the 80s.
- Could hear doors opening and closing on my floor all night.
- Bathroom toilet wouldn't flush all the way. I won't offer more details than that.
- It was impossible to get the temperature down in the room. I had it run at 60 with the fan on high all day and it was still too warm to be comfortable.
- The complimentary breakfast was below average.
- Hallways and elevators are run down.

Would I stay here again? No. While the people are friendly and the tailgate was a nice touch, the building itself just needs a lot of work to justify the cost compared to other hotels in the city.
