The restaurant's atmosphere can be nice (except in some locations where it is cramped), and while the food is delicious there are some issues that come up that make what would be a frequent favorite into a place we rarely go to. Give this place a shot, definitely, but maybe wait until all the kinks are worked out.
Service is a big issue. The waitresses can be weird, be it a little too flirty even if your spouse is present (ruins the visit) or otherwise awkward. Drink orders are not consistent - if you choose milk tea you can get a few varieties: unmixed with little ice, unmixed with so much ice you should get a discount since you're only getting 50% of what you paid for, or the same options but pre-mixed (not a big deal but it should be customer's choice). The biggest issue is the ice - the ingredients start cold, so packing the cup with chipped ice just skimps on the drink you're paying for.
The service also makes the experience worse due to being very forgetful, we once waited for over 20 minutes on trying to pay the check (timed it after having to wait a really long time for every other step and for any refills). The waitress even passed us by to talk to some non-paying customers she was friends with at the front door. This was in addition to an overall awkward service experience. These aren't one time experiences, out of 5 visits 3 of them have had similar problems and the waitresses aren't being replaced.
The food is tasty, but the portion sizes are pretty large considering there's no obvious take-home method. I like the pricing, I like the taste, but a large portion goes to waste because the serving sizes are large and there's no way to bring it home (or if there is, the waitress was wrong in not just telling us they don't do that and acting like it was rude or weird to ask).
Overall an alright restaurant, but there are strange pricing and portion issues (drinks are over-iced so you get half of what you pay for, bowls are much larger than what you'd eat but you can't bring it home so you pay to waste) and there are some service issues. Don't come here with your significant other, the service will just awkward up the whole experience by being overly flirtatious.
