“One of the two best”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

BBque restaurants in Oklahoma, the other being Dink's in Bartlesville. The brisket was very, very good. The sauce was also excellent. The cost was a little more than you would expect, especially considering you get plastic untensils and a styrofoam plate, but you can't argue with the quality of the food.

“Tangy and Succulent Ribs”
Reviewed September 7, 2012

The ribs at this place are the best I've ever had. The best thing about them is they are consistantly good. They are big. They have a lot of meat on them and very little visible fat. We usually order the slab special with an order of fries. For about $20, you get ribs, 2 sides, fries seasoned with Head Country's special seasoning and barbeque sauce. If you aren't feeding teenagers, its enough for a family of 4.
I've also had their sandwiches, with, of course, their fries. I love their fries. The sandwiches are good but what this place excels at is their ribs.

“Home of Head Country Bar-B-Q Sauce”
Reviewed September 6, 2012

We had been craving some BBQ for a couple of weeks and although we had heard mixed reviews of their restaurant, we thought we would try it. Nothing fancy here, styrofoam plates and plasticware. We had the rib and brisket plate and the chopped beef sandwich. Now really good bbq doesn't need sauce, just a good rub and slow smoking. We had to add their famous sauce just to flavor the meat up some. The sides beans and potato salad were good. The prices were about average but the serving size lacked compared to some of my favorite bbq places. The sauce is the only thing I would rate as very good, everything else was just average.

“Delicious”

Great food, a little pricey. We personally love the BBQ brisket sandwiches and on the baked potato and the ham is excellent! We get the same things over and over again.
