According to locals, this is a favorite haunt of Ted Turner's when he is in town (he owns a ranch close by). I can see why, it's very good BBQ!
I had a two meat plate with sliced beef brisket and sliced pork loin, and with two sides, a slice of bread, and iced tea was still under $10 with very sufficient portions. The brisket is good with a nice smoke flavor and moist. Note the pork is not pulled pork. This is the very lean loin that is the best part of a pig. The pork also has a good smoke flavor but is nice and moist as well.
The meats need no sauce to enjoy. If you insist on sauce, they have a mild that is on the sweet side and the hot has a strong pepper taste and very spicy, but still good flavor.
Make sure to visit Bad Brad's and tell Ted I said "Hi"! Enjoy!
