Sleep Tight Don't Let the Bed Bugs Bite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This establishment has truly diminished. The bathrooms are horrible... dirty tubs, linen, shower curtains..... OH non-smoking rooms have cigarette burns all over.... and the best part ever your children wake up with bites all over their body.... Then management offers a discounted rate the next time you decide to stay at their hotel....... Wake me am I dreaming is this real?????? I have never......... We work to hard for our money and even though it is a good rate for the experience the rate of the rooms are way over priced..... good thing for me I had my own cleaning products... hey wait thats not my job and no I didn't get a pay check.... honestly this is a health hazard and the Management Staff, Cleaning Staff, House Keeping staff..... Well just the staff in general should be ashamed...............

The only good thing about this hotel was that we could not hear the highway. Otherwise, the rug had not been vacuumed, the sheets were stained, bed lumpy, hair in the shower. The room was musty and badly worn.

If you want the Waldorf, you have to pay for it. The main problems with this motel are its location (right next to a truck stop - not much of a view), and its age (not new). When you enter the room, you are greeted with one of the two or three standard 'old motel' smells - sort of a combination of cleaners & bug spray - just a litle musty. Bedspreads were frayed and stained and the fixtures did not work properly, but my complaints would be 'nit-picky' at best. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, although the cleaning lady spoke very little english, and while the carpet seemed due for a steam cleaning, the room was basically clean. Sheets and linens were clean. There were no bedbugs, a common problem in more expensive motels, only a few flies.

I am told Motel 6 is in the middle of a nationwide remodeling program. They haven't gotten to this one yet, but for the price, it really isn't bad.

HELPFUL HINT - Bring a flyswatter.

P.S. - If you want to see an old theme park that hasn't lost sight of its original theme, try 'Frontier City' which is in walking distance of this motel.

not even sure where to start, but here goes- Enter room, REEKS of smoke, (in a "ns" room), noticed some stuff under the a/c. At a closer glance, there were 3 DEAD FISH under the a/c. Looked like small possibly pet fish...Ummm.....after our second call to the front desk, (first one was about the drunken guys walking back and forth to the pool, which was closed) she told us, "there was nothing she could do". She refused to acknowledged that something like this, may not be okay in a motel. She refused to call the manager whom she said was there, but then she changed her story and management was not there. After I offered to remove the deadness out of the room in exchange for a discount, she said no to that, so we got a full refund and left. She didnt say a word or eye contact when issuing the refund. I don't want to go on and on and give you tons to read, hopefully this will suffice, but in other-words, choose elsewhere to stay, in my opinion.

The service was terrible, staff was very unfriendly and kept on talking about private matters with a friend during check in. There was garbage (empty beer cans, bottles, pizza cartons...) everywhere (stairs, walkways...). The room was old and dirty. The floor full of stains and visible dirt. The toilet was broken. You could here a flushing toilet from another room the whole night, very disturbing. Never again.

Customer service was okay, everything was in good working condition, good location, and the motel was clean. However, we were in a non-smoking room but it was between smoking rooms and we could smell the smoke in our room whenever our neighbors would light up. Also, like the other reviewer said, there are a lot of semi trucks in the area. They were noisy, but, did not keep us awake. The Waffle House next door is a good place to eat! Food is good and customer service is excellent. They even helped us decide what would be fun to do in Oklahoma City.

I stayed here a year and a half ago before I started using Trip Advisor. On the negative: Unless things have changed, don't plan on getting much sleep there as the walls are paper thin and you can hear every noise that's made including the semi trucks parked outside, the highway and every coming and going in every room around ya. On the positive, the motel is very close to fast food, gas, I-35 for quick access to Guthrie, Frontier City and anything in Oklahoma City.
