“Great selection of beers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

Came here after a long day of work with the co-workers. We didn't buy any food since we ate prior to coming here but they did have a great selection of beers! They play trivia every Tuesday which was interesting and funny so here what people had to say. Very great place to stop buy and have a few beers with the "locals".

“Stay away from tapwerks!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 28, 2013

I had Bad service from a waitress named Allison she was very rude and got our drink orders wrong whenever she could find the time to take our orders that is, looking at my receipt the next day I noticed that she had added gratuity to the bill there was only 2 of us, so if you decide to go LOOK OVER YOUR RECEIPT!!!

“Great beer forget the food”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 28, 2013

We had great expectations of this when we walked in and saw the impressive selection of beers. The server was pleasant.
I ordered the Guinness stew which was obviously out of a can and had been microwaved. Thick grey sauce with some unidentifiable vegetables, chewy meat and not a potato in sight.
My husband ordered the buffalo chicken wrap which was cold when it came and he asked if it should be. The server said sorry and took it back, after an extremely long wait, she brought it back. He had a bite or said it was still cold and just pushed it aside telling her it was still cold.

“Good Beer”

They have a great beer selection but the food and service are not good. Several times I have tried hoping for a better result but no luck. I'll stick to the beer.

“Awesome beer selection”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2013

I have been here a few times and it was a pleasant experience. The first time we had our 14 year old niece. It was not a problem at lunch time and we had decent fish and chips and sandwiches and beer. The second time was around 5 on a Sunday eve, and we got one of the last booths in the place. It was game night so there were quite a few people there. Our waitress was very helpful and checked on us often. The fish and chips weren't that great, but everyone loved the cheesy fries and the club sandwich and salads. This is more of a dive bar experience. The extensive beers on tap (categorized by country and/or "type") were hard to choose from and the martinis were great. The prices seemed very reasonable and our overall experience was a jolly one!
