We attended a private party here and whoever catered the party...it was outstanding. The layout of the party was great. The museum was the perfect place with the oil derricks out front and the capitol in the background. Did not have time to tour the museum!!

I attended a Caddo Dance at the Center and while there visited the fascinating exhibits. I had no idea Oklahomans had such an influence on aerospace. The grounds and public art are great too.

Lots of interesting exhibits from Oklahoma's past. Title pretty much sums it up.

We went on a trip with my daughter's 4th grade class. Very nice facililty. Great place to learn all about Oklahoma History. I will have to go back with just my family to have more time to explore all the areas. Interesting to see Oklahomans who have great accomplishments. Nice gift shop and nice people there to help you.

This is not the customary musty museum of old flags and archaic horseshoes! There is a top rate research facility available just before you enter the museum, and it's free! Tip: those interested in doing genealogical and Native American Indian roll research can do it in the state-of-the-art facility where subscriber-based commercial search services can be accessed without paying a dime. Even the lockers for your bags are provided at no cost. Plenty of parking, right across from the governor's mansion. Great for kids, too. A themed cafe is onsite. If you do continue into the collections, which is highly recommended, you'll find it well worth the investment of time and a modest fee. There are exhibits that bring Oklahoma and Southwestern history to life. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. A pleasant place to spend time, both inside and out, with wonderfully landscaped walking paths around the modern facility. Do it!
