“New, clean, and nice!”
Reviewed February 16, 2008

New, clean, nice, cheap rates. They have a continental breakfast that is average. Nice desk staff.

This nearly-new Sleep Inn is finished and furnished more like a Courtyard than a traditional Sleep Inn (nice furniture; attractive presentation; comfortable bed; lots of pillows; good work area; flat screen t.v.; plenty of closet space; roomy bathroom) but the low price is all Sleep Inn. Our Saturday night stay was $35 less than the Courtyard down the block and every bit as nice.

I would give the hotel an Excellent rating except for a few bothersome details. Hallway noise was intrusive and could be a real bother, even though the room was very well insulated from street noise and from other rooms. The desk clerks (the only two employees we saw) were friendly and caring but not particularly efficient; it took over 10 minutes to check in when I was the only customer in line. The breakfast buffet was sad with only a few stale-looking bagels, brown bananas, only two types of cereal, and the weakest coffee I've ever seen. The spacious bathroom lacked any real ventilation, and the toilet accessories were sparse and of low quality.

For what we paid ($70), it's a great deal. But for $100, you could get a more complete hotel.

I booked one night at the Sleep Inn on Classen at a rate of $70 directly through the hotel's website. I thought it was an excellent rate for the quality/experience in this hotel. This property is obviously brand new - definitely less than a year old. The room had a refrigerator, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, and fully stocked bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel was extremely quiet overnight. There was a free continental breakfast with standard fare. Probably the biggest surprise was the other facilities - it had a fairly large pool and hot tub, and a full-sized fitness center. I overheard the hotel manager telling someone that they had rooms with jacuzzis as well. This hotel looks like a great place for families with kids, and extended business stays as well.

The hotel is conveniently located along I-44 close to Penn Square Mall - Bricktown/downtown OKC is only 10 mins away. I was here for an OU game - the hotels in Norman were booked but I could get to campus in just 20-25 mins from this hotel.

The only negative for me was that the room got way too bright first thing in the morning. They didn't have the "usual" double or triple layer hotel curtains on the window - so lots of sun started coming in at the crack of dawn.

Despite this - I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to others travelling to OKC.

I stayed here for two nights for a wedding. It was nothing fancy, but i wasnt looking for fancy. It is literally 8 seconds from the off ramp from I-35. Great location. I-HOP is across the street if youre not down with the litle breakfast they offer. Hotel is about 2 streets over from the one of the main drags of Ok city. There is a mall about three blocks away along with any eating place you can think of. i would stay here again if visiting Ok City in the future

Stayed at hotel for four nights in June 2007. Hotel is brand new so beds are comfortable, fixtures are new, everything works.

Complimentary breakfast buffet was good-make your own waffles, bagels, muffins, fruit (not great selection-just apples and bananas), two kinds of cereal, milk, juice, yogurt. Pool is small (capacity of 11) as is hot tub (capacity of 5). Fitness room has treadmill, elliptical machine and one universal weight machine (no free weights). Laundry room has ONE washer and ONE dryer ($1.25 to use each).

Staff was friendly but sometimes not trained too well. Had trouble getting a summary of my room charges upon checkout. Well lit parking lot. Hotel close to major highway for easy in/out but no noise outside room disturbed our sleep.

  • Liked — Breakfast & pool/spa
  • Disliked — Lack of trained staff
