My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Colcord. We enjoy historic hotels with a modern feel and the Colcord was just that.
Our room was enormous. I couldn't believe how large it was. Everything in our room was modern and exceeded expectations.
The cafe/bar is nicely done and we even saw a few celebrities there, as our visit was during the NBA playoffs. We had a light meal and a few drinks there after the game and we were very pleased with the atmosphere, food, and service.
Bricktown is a short walk from the hotel as well as the Murrah Federal building memorial.
I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

I was so surprised by the greatness of this hotel I had to review it right after getting home from my trip. I planned on staying one night for my birthday but it was such a great experience we stayed the entire weekend. It started with the valet, he met us as we drove up, greeted us and immediately took care of our bags and had us inside the hotel where it was warm. On a side note, he also shuttled us around town in a very comfortable Cadillac whenever we wanted to see some place new. The front desk staff was attentive and the hotel restaurant and bar has exceptional food. Room service was prompt, the food hot, and the taste superb. The room was beautiful! Friday night we wanted pizza around 1 AM and the hotel even took care of ordering the pizza for us! I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and will definitely be planning another trip to OKC just so I can stay there.

I didn’t expect something so special in Oklahoma City. The building is historic but the rooms are comfortable and contemporary….very Boutique. From check-in to check-out the staff was efficient yet friendly. The fresh flowers in the hallways were a nice touch. Loved my mattress!!! Slept like a baby! Free coffee in the lobby and free WI-FI are features I really appreciate.

We stayed here and the service was great. The room was much nicer than we expected with a very large dressing area connected to the bathroom. Beds were great. It was easy to walk to the Ford Center from this hotel and with the way the streets are tore up driving would have been very difficult. Parking at the hotel was valet and very reasonable priced at only $10.00.
Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

It was my husband's 50th and I suprised him by having five other couples stay at the Colcord with us to celebrate. This is one of the most accomodating hotels I have ever stayed at. Every person that we came in contact with that worked there, was totally engaged in their job as well as the comfort of the guests. Staying at the Colcord offered everything to us. They have an awesome restaurant in the hotel and a cocktail area. We also took advantage of the shuttle service the hotel offers. We went to various places which allowed us to go with our friends and relax without the hassle of traffic and parking. It is also in walking distance to Bricktown. The hotel is beautiful and it seems to run with complete ease and class. Did I mention the beds? Every single person that was with us commented on how comfortable they were. We are definately going back soon. It was awesome!

All of our rooms have Euro-top mattresses with luxurious linens, complimentary bottled waters, soft robes, custom artwork, programmable safes, wireless desk phones, and desks with leather blotters. Bring your pups, too. We are as dog friendly as we are guest friendly. We gladly accept up to two dogs per room, with a weight restriction of 50 pounds each. There will be a $50 fee per dog per day, not to exceed $300. When the Colcord Building was completed in 1910, at 12 stories, it was the first skyscraper in Oklahoma City. Every luxury of the time was incorporated in the construction, many of which remain today: The original marble still adorns the columns and walls of the main lobby; the original nickel and bronze letterbox and elevator doors still shine; and the original ornamental plaster ceiling still crowns the space. Though the building's trademark elegance and historic architectural elements have been preserved, the revamped Colcord now has an updated style and is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies that suit the needs of our guests. ... more   less
