First the good; the beds are really comfortable.
Now the not so good; the maid service is terrible! i'm not too picky, but when the maid forgets to take out the trash twice in a week, forgets to empty the ice bucket water 4 out of 5 nights, forgets to provide soap and washcloths, and never wiped down the countertops well I call that bad service.
the food has been horrible before, but the mgt credited me for the meal. I didn't chance it this time.
There are about 1000 noisy birds nesting in the trees outside over a lot of the parking spaces, i had the misfortune of parking under a tree, the rental car was totally covered with bird poo, and the hotel did nothing about it but suggest a nearby car wash...
next time I'm staying at the Holiday Inn across the street...

I am so sorry that your recent stay was not up to expectations - yours or ours! Typically we really get good comments on our housekeeping service, but it seems like we really dropped the ball on your stay. If you would be kind enough to send me specific info on your stay (dates/name or room), I would like to follow-up with the person assigned to clean room. We certainly will follow-up quickly on this item. We are working on several options to address the energetic birds in our trees. Our hope is to have this resolved in the next few weeks.

This hotel was great. The beds were so comfortable. The location is fantastic. I had room service and it was good, standard eggs, back , etc. Every staff member was smiling, cheerful, and helpful. I can't believe some of the other reviews...they must be nitpicking! The only thing I agree with is you can hear the birds some but mainly at sundown and sunup. Hey, it's better than hearing traffic! I thought this hotel was excellent.

We appreciate your business and thank you for taking the time to write about your experience. I agree with you that the sound of birds is better than the sound of traffic...:)

That said, we are working on some solutions to curb the enthusiasm of the birds. Also, we have some exciting upgrades coming in the next 60 days: new guest corridor carpet and lighting, new pre-function meeting space carpet, new pool furniture, and all new wi-fi and HSIA. We hope you will return soon and see some of these upgrades.

Contrary to some other reviews I was quite impressed by this Crowne Plaza.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, spacious and mine had a great view (I loved the large windows)
There were some nice touches such as "relaxation kit" which had some creams and aromatherapy products.
The bed was comfortable although the pillows weren't my favorite.
Location was great. It's fairly near downtown, not too far from the airport and there are many shops and restaurants within walking distance.

We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay at the Crowne Plaza Oklahoma City and thank you for taking time to tell us about your experience. Our goal is to genuinely connect with each and every guest and ensure you have an enjoyable visit.

There are some even better things coming soon to the hotel. Right now we are having an all-new High Speed Internet system installed. It should be up and running in the next 10 days or so. We have a fiber-optic cable turned on so that the speed is fantastic AND we have all new cable/wi-fi routers being installed so the signal is great every time. We even have a new service provider for 24/7 support for all guests who may have an issue. Best of all - this is completely complimentary to our guests! Again, the new system should be up by October 10th or 12th.

Just wanted to leave a review thanking you for the hospitality. i stayed 6 nites in room 615 and felt like it was home away from home. i work in this industry so i am picky...and it had little these and those issues, but overall, so comfortable! 615 is a bit noisy as it is on a corner, near an ice machine and right off the elevators so choose another room is quiet mornings are an issue, with me they were not! jenny at check in was lovely, and i couldn't have chosen a better hotel. will be back in november!

Room Tip: on vacation, i enjoy sunrise so i chose an upper level 615. as stated, it got noisy, but overall no...

Stayed here for one night while driving through from San Antonio. Bit dissappointed with its location from downtown. Had to get a cab, which unfortunately for us we hit peak hr traffic so took about 30 mins. The room itself was ok, but had a bit of a problem with the shower.

The drain in the shower was clogged and after calling the front desk it took almost an hr for someone to come and then another half hr to fix it. Not very happy, After an 8 hr drive we all just wanted to shower and go to bed!

Also, as I think was mentioned in previous reviews, the toilet was very crammed and very uncomfortable!

Thank you for staying with us during your recent trip to Oklahoma City. I apologize for the shower drain being slow and for the time it took to get this resolved. On the night of your call our maintenance engineer was involved in one other issue at the time of your call, so it did take us a while to get to your room. The toilets in the bathrooms are positioned close to the tubs - this is not something we can really change at this point.

On a three week road trip we booked a two night weekend stay at this conveniently located hotel, just a few minutes off the Interstate. It's a high rise with plenty of free parking. Breakfast is not included but the price was low and there is free Starbucks in the lobby for IHG Club members.

The room was spacious and had flat screen TV. Bathroom adequate. Poor lighting but had shaving mirror. Gym was rudimentary but usable.

There is a small bar with middle of the road selections.

Staff was quite helpful in providing directions and helping me find the Sunday New York Times.

The hotel is located close to many restaurants, including some non-chains. It's a short drive to the Asian District and downtown.

I'd certainly stay here again, especially at the price.

Checked in around 5 pm, the microwave ovens and fridges were not available any more, although when making reservations was promised both. Convenient location: major hwy and close to lots of family restaurants, excellent breakfast buffet and service, noise and disturbances from hallway and/or other rooms almost minimum. Too many birds in the parking lot though, could hear them at night and could see the results of their presence on the windows of the car in the morning. Overall, not bad.

Room Tip: away from the parking lot, will not hear birds at night.
