Top restaurant on Oklahoma---it's the choice for all of our "occasions" such as anniversary & birthdays. Food and service are always "top notch". Chef Kurt Fleisfresser is the absolute best in the state. You will not be disappointed.

“Use to be great. Now just average or below.”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

The coach house use to be the place to go for great dining, fantastic wine list and special occasions. As of 10/10/12, I will not go there again. The waiter could differentiate between the cab wines saying they all taste the same. When describing the specials and the menu volunteered that the food had contributed to his multiple experiences with gout. The manager was spending his time with 2 young women talking about all his accomplishments.

The appetizer of duck prepared 3 ways was great. I highly recommend it if you like duck. We 2 different kinds of soup, squash and 3 green. If you like sweet, you will like the squash. The 3 green soup was very good. We had the rib eye as an entree was was cooked properly, however the quality was not $50 that was charged. The potato side was also enjoyable. The broccoli was burnt to a crisp. very disappointing experience.

“Excellent Service - Wonderful Food!”
Reviewed August 28, 2012

My family and I arrived for our reservation about two minutes late - and the staff at the Coach House were waiting for us at the door. We had never been there and they greeted us by name! Ice water was waiting for us at our table and our waiter was attentive without being pushy. Cocktails were excellent - the foie gras trio was perfection - and our entrees were fabulous. We were the last diners, yet they did not rush us. Would definitely go back!

“City's Finest”
Reviewed August 12, 2012

We always stop in OKC on our summer road trip from Tennessee to the west coast. This time we decided on The Coachhouse, based solely on reviews, and were very pleased with the experience. The restaurant is one of those old-school elegant dining venues with fantastic service and lots of dark wood and posh upholstery- the sort of place where you see politicians, cattle barons and oil tycoons... or at least folks who look like they should be. On advice from other reviewers I requested a booth, which was a very good call- the booths are actually private niches that still provide a view of the dining room. My wife was suitably pleased with the romantic surrounding- always a good thing.

Oh yeah, the meal. Everything was finely crafted, well presented and perfect. Salads crisp, fresh and precisely dressed. My wife ordered the steak frites with bearnaise and I had the duck breast. All great. We finished off by sharing a creme brûlée with fresh berries... just right The wine list is extensive and geared to the aficionado- we opted for wines by the stem, starting with some bubbly. All in all a fantastic meal. Highly recommended.
