“Great food and service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2013

Steaks cooked perfectly. They did not know how to make a cosmo. They made it so good that I had 3. The fries are perfectly salted. The service was fantastic. She was so attentive! The hotels and this restaurant are holding that area together!!

“fast food, very crowded, what's not to like?”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2013

if you know about this chain's varied menu of good to very good food, then I've nothing to add. This particular restaurant location, which I hope it isn't typical of their others, has so many tables and chairs to seat as many customers as possible, that you have to walk sideways to get to a lot of the tables and booths. Not sure, but it seems to be a violation of the fire code's limit on occupation. Maybe not, but I wouldn't want to imagine an emergency evacuation if it ever became necessary. Food-good, staff-very friendly, crowd of hungry diners waiting outside-large and getting bigger. The other "negative" if you will, is the location. Although very convenient on the map, but can be difficult to find, depending on what direction you're coming from. We stayed behind it at the Marriott Fairfield Inn, adjacent to a dead, derelict Crossroads Mall. Safety issue? Not much, but . . .

“Dinner best missed.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2013

Being a Sawgrass steakhouse fan, I avoided the Texas Roadhouse until this past weekend when my two Godsons decided that was their restaurant of choice for a leisurely steak dinner on a Friday night. Even at 8:00 pm at the Crossroads location, we had to wait 35 minutes for a small corner table which three grown men sat uncomfortably at. The food server was obviously 'in the weeds" so he spoke so fast I couldn't quite catch just what he was saying. My sweet tea with no lemon, arrived with lemon. My fried pickles arrived very fast and very cold. And my prime rib was hands down the worst I have ever experienced. Tough to the point a knife couldn't make a cut into it and luke warm aus jus which seemed only to toughen the cut of beef further. My complaint was met with a simple "I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the items you selected" and for a ticket of $74.57, the Texas Roadhouse can keep their shoe leather steaks and poor service.

“Nothing to get excited about”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2013

The restaurant was very busy and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. There were 7 of us in the group. They had a booth for 6 people(kid size people) and they set up a small table in the walkway for the additional person. It was definitely cramped and definitely not convenient for a casual business dinner.

The service was extremely slow and we had to continually ask for refills and to get the service items removed.

The food was descent - nothing really exceptional; most people enjoyed their meals. The prices were about average as was the food. Fairly typical for this type of establishment.

“Rather disappointing for a Texas Roadhouse”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 14, 2012

Having dined at many a Texas Roadhouse, I was quite disappointed by the food and service at this OKC location at Westgate. Had to sit several minutes as we waited to have our order taken, surprising as it was only 8:30 pm, the chili was thick and lumpy, the Chicken Fried Sirloin was pounded so think, I peeled off the crust to see if there was anything between the batter! The server said, "Yeah, sometimes they pound it too thin!" My wifes prime rib was served with the side that was obviously left open to the air as it sat waiting for the next cut, up and appeared dried out. You would think you would turn it over to 'hide' the dry side and being served with no au jus made it worse. Server didn't reappear for a while so she ate it as is. By the time she reappeared, my wife was half way done, so she never asked for au jus. Steak fries were obviously sitting for quite a while as well since they were soft, mushy and not very hot.
No, I would not return to this particular Texas Roadhouse.
