“Parking is a nightmare”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

The food was excellent, as always, but parking at this location is a nightmare for out of town guests. There was some kind of event going on nearby that had ALL the parking lots full. We circled the block a dozen times before we decided to pay the $10 to park in the lot near the restaurant. This location really needs to consider purchasing the parking lot and making it for Zio's customers, ONLY.

“ZIO'S OF NORMAN OK. HORRIBLE”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

We looked up Zio's of Norman website where it said "curb side to go", it's a lie, they don't have curb side to go. The girl on the phone even said "yes we have curb side, we'll bring it to your car." NOT SO! Once we arrived there were no parking signs and we had to go inside to the end of the bar to ask to get our food. We were told "oh, we can't do curb side, they won't let us put cameras outside." What a CROCK!!!!! The food at best was mediocre, one guest ordered spaghetti w/meat sauce and there was literally a small spoonful of sauce on a mountain of pasta. Who wants to eat bland raw pasta. The rest of the orders were just as disappointing. Don't waste your money or time going here.

“Outdoor Seating is Nice. Food is OK.”
Reviewed September 22, 2013 via mobile

The balcony seating overlooking the canal is definitely a pro for this restaurant. It was a bit dirty at the beginning of the lunch hour, so I found that unappealing. Our service was pretty good. My Bellini was more peach nectar than the other ingredients (Champagne and Chardonnay). As another reviewer said, portions are very large. The Pasta Mia section dish on the menu lets you decide on which pasta, sauce and meat you want. Three of us had that option. One of us had salad with grilled chicken and said it was fresh and chicken cooked well. You decide food or atmosphere?

“great food in friendly surroundings”
Reviewed September 13, 2013

Recommended to this canal-side restaurant by my hotel, and they were right. Even though they were incredibly busy and there was barely a table to be had, I was looked after by Travis, served quickly with succulent food and some delicious bread and a long, cold beer. I shall make a point of going back.
