“Fantastic! -But watch for trains!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2009

This hotel was perfect! The staff was super friendly! The location was great, close to the highway but not on it. There was quite a variety of things to choose from for breakfast. The rooms were clean. The gym and pool were great. Only thing I would have to warn people of is if you're planning to sleep in, request to not be on the side of the hotel that faces the train tracks. We were already up and at em' early but the train going by before 7 would have woken us up if we hadn't been. Just a warning. Other wise, perfect!

2nd stay here. Was here for an event at Ford Center next door 3 years ago. Was very impressed then and am equally impressed now. An excellent hotel in every sense - convenient location to Bricktown/downtown, quiet, clean and comfortable and courteous staff.

The only negative encountered is the $12 per day self-parking fee! That's a bit steep for guests!

But other than that, it's a "perfect stay" place.

Great hotel right by bricktown. it is everything you expect from Marriott. Clean rooms, clean sheets, friendly staff, etc. I recommend this hotel for business and pleasure. They even gave me a nice upgrade when I asked for it with breakfast and a nice room with a view.

After reading other reviews of this property I agree with everything said about this hotel - it is a great find. Modern hotel with clean rooms and an exceptionally friendly staff. Minutes from Bricktown (I also suggest Tapwerks for beers and also Micky Mantles for a great steak). Fitness center was state of the art with 3 tredmills, a couple of bikes and free weights. The lounge was full evertime I passed by but with so much to do in Bricktown I passed on it. I would recoemnd this hotel and it is now #1 (ahead of the Hilton Skirvin) on my list for Oak City.

I stayed in the Courtyard Oklahoma City Downtown for 1 night while on business recently.
The hotel is situated just adjacent to Bricktown. (2 minute walk)
This is a very modern clean hotel (nice lobby, dining facilities, gym)

The Good:
-The rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated
- Beds and linens are comfy and luxurious
- Rooms seem sound proof
- Free high speed internet

To Improve:
- Add a mini-fridge
- Change the coffee maker for a larger better model
- Heating/AC was the outside wall module type, which doesn't regulate temperature as good as a central type
- Add more TV channels

What you should also know:
- Parking cost $13.01
- Breakfast is not included in room rate

Conclusion:
- A good choice for a short stay business trip or a romantic stay.

  • Liked — Clean, safe and modern
  • Disliked — Not ideal for long stays (no min-fridge or micro-wave)

Just finished a two-night stay at this hotel on business and thought overall that it was very nice for a business hotel. The hotel is located on the edge of downtown OKC and on the edge of Bricktown, which passes for all there is to see or do in the downtown area and is very nice, if not a bit touristy, overall. If looking for a place to unwind, I would highly recommend Tap Werks on Sheridan in BT - 100 beers on tap, great food and plenty of character!

My room was a king with a very spacious and comfy bed and a living area consisting of a sofa and chair. The desk was generous and the room had free internet. The bathroom was clean and large with nice shower. It was definitely a good room to come back to at the end of the day.

Hotel amenities seemed fine, though I did not avail myself of many of them. The bar was nice but the beer selection was dismal. The group I was with went out to Bricktown both nights and didn't hangout at the bar but for one apertif after dinner the first night. The hotel tried to create some atmosphere in the bar with some live acoustic music, which was nice enough.

Foodwise, the grab and go food bar they advertise in the commercials turned out to be a disappointment, with a paltry selection of overpriced everything, with below average quality on the fresh items. However, the breakfast buffet was good.

In sum, I didn't have any major complaints and would recommend this hotel for business travel to central OKC.

  • Liked — Location, room quality
  • Disliked — Everything was generally of good quality, but hotel bar needed better beers!

This is a typical high-end Courtyard in OKC. This one has the complete facility, full service restaurant and bar, business center, a fitness center with - free weights - at least dumbelss anyway and an EZ curl bar with plates. Facility is in very nice shape, room was great, clean, etc. Only down side is OK City has such funny-tasting water. It makes for poor coffee so I had to use the 2.50 bottled water each morning. No complaints to be found here at all.

  • Liked — Location, access, cleanliness, facilities.
  • Disliked — A bit pricey but typical for large downtown motels around expo centers.
