This memorial was absolutely gorgeous, I highly recommend walking around. The reflecting pool, the survivor tree, and the field of chairs were very well maintained. National park rangers were around to help answer any questions you might have. You get many feelings of sorrow and hope and it was beautifully thought out and a lovely addition to Oklahoma City.

Just visit, it's self explanatory. We need to remember the awful things that happened here. Very beautiful setting, fine for families.

I was there the day of the bombing
Heard the bang
And ran to help
With many helpers we
helped many victims

This was not an event you could plan for
But what we had was great support
And good common sense

And it was bloody and fretful
The whole day was ghastly

This memorial captures a lot of what this day has in history

Very well set out and very meaningful

Highly recommended

My husband and I took a day from our travels and visited the memorial and museum. The
details seemed to be lovingly and thoughtfully selected so as to portray accurately the events of that fateful day and to honor both the lives of those innocents who perished and those who sacrificed theirs to search and rescue. The Reflection Pool reminds visitors about how quickly life can change, and the illuminated adult and children’s chair are haunting reminders of those who perished. The museum recreates the steps law enforcement took to capture the two who masterminded and acted so wantonly. The docents were helpful and seemed committed to ensure that visitors’ questions be answered.

I have lived in Oklahoma my whole life. I am a nurse and was on duty the day it happened. I finally decided it was time. The timeline theme is excellent. Everyone can remember where they were during the various events/discoveries. If you were directly involved prepare to be a little emotional. Tastefully done and well documented. It took us approximately 2 1/2 hrs to make it through. So proud of our state. WE WILL NEVER FORGET!
