Having spent quite a lot of time in London, this particular restaurant/bar intrigued us while searching for a place for an afternoon drink during a recent trip to OKC. We stopped here for a couple rounds and found this was a fun, enjoyable English style pub.
Tables, bar seats and pub interior does resemble a traditional English pub. On the whole, it is a bit too polished, spruced up and modern - sort of had a slight Disney feel to it but without being offensive. You can order your drinks at the bar, holding true to the normal drink ordering method of proper pubs. However, it seems it was ok to just take a seat at a table and they'd come to take your order, the normal method in American bars. Seems a bit of the best of both worlds, which was nice.
We ordered a couple of drinks properly served in pint classes. This was nice and enjoyable. We then spotted Leffe bottles in the freezer, an absolute favorite of mine so we had a couple. Unfortunately, they don't have the correct serving glasses for Leffe and simply poured ours into standard drinking glasses. Sadly, this hinders the taste of this classic Belgium beer so they were not particularly enjoyable. These bottles might have been a bit old as well as the beer tasted slightly skunked - not the best bottled beer experience to be honest. We didn't order food while at the Baker Street Pub and Grill but it looked like an inviting place to try.
Overall, not a bad stop for a pint, a bit of a fun place to try if you want to experience an American version of an English style pub. We felt better beer was on offer at the nearby BJ's and that it might be best to stick to the draft beer options here after our Leffe experience. It was a fun place to try.
