Larger-than-life bronzes of the Land Run! If you are an Oklahoman (especially one from the greater OKC area and have not seen this, shame on you! This is very well done and a nice place to stroll around near the Bricktown area. This is very close to Bass Pro and the Harkins Theater. Why not plan on including a visit to this monument when you bring your visitors to Bricktown! The bronzes are really well done!

“Amazing!”

Tricky to get to, but worth the hunt! Go to the back of the parking lot of the Bass store and park and walk to be greeted by huge, beautifully carved statues of the people and animals of the land rush. Great attention to detail. Notice the footprints of the horses hooves.

“WOW!!”

A must see when in OKC. Hard to find. It's on the back side of the Bass Pro Shop. VERY impressive and many pieces. It starts on one side of the canal and finishes on the other side.

“Nice addition to any OKC trip”
Reviewed July 14, 2013

Visited the monument and learned more about the land run. Enjoyed walking around the statues. Could see the construction as this monument is not completed yet. There is a nice path to follow that is along the Bricktown riverwalk. If you take the Bricktown water taxi tours you would pass by the monument as well. Parking is free by driving through the Bass Pro parking lot as there is a lot by the statues. Or you could probably use the Bass pro lot. We didn't spend that long there walking around.

Breathtaking statues. Definitely worth your time. The directions I was given on an earlier post were dead on...Bass Pro parking lot until you can see the statues.
