We have visited twice and loved it both times. The first time was as a family for some summer fun and a break from the heat. My older son was 8 and could read very well and enjoyed it more than his brother who was 6 couldn't read all the signs yet. They both liked all the hands on exibits. The second time we went was a school field trip, with 1st graders. They have great classes for field trips that were very age appropriate. The kids learned about teeth and the difference between herbivores, carnivores, and omnivores. They got to handle skulls to learn about the different types of teeth. Very cool place for either type of trip.
