Bricktown appears to be a group of old warehouses that have been converted to restaurants and bars. It's certainly scenic, and worth a stroll and having a meal on the canal. A canal runs through it, and you can take canal rides. Because of the competition of all of the different restaurants, I would think the quality of food would be pretty good.

Love this place. It will compare to the San Antonio Riverwalk. Alot of restaurants, riverboat cruises and close to ballparks, Basspro

Oklahoma City truly has some class and sophistication at last. Bricktown offers a great atmosphere, places to eat, drink, relax, party you name it.

We arrived in Oklahoma on motorcycles in the fierce June heat - 42 degrees C! We spent the evening exploring Bricktown which is an area of Oklahoma City which has been completely transformed from run down dock area to a cool, safe space in which to enjoy a drink and a meal, a ride on the water taxi along the canal and to take in a ball game at the Brickhouse stadium. You must see the wonderful Land Rush statue which straddles the canal and is set to be the largest art installation in the world. It is absolutely incredible.

We visited during the day and on a Friday night; the difference was "Night and Day" .... rather dull and sedate during the day but it came alive at night. Everything was lit up, music was in the air from several venues, and people were all about walking or hanging at outdoor bars/cafes; horse-drawn carriages, water taxis, and bicycle rickshaws completed the Disney atmosphere.
Norm's Dockside (over 21 only) is a totally outdoor bar directly on the River Walk ... live band outside, fun boozing.
I wanted to check out RedPin Bowling ... upscale bowling with bar and wait service but couldn't find it.
Basically if you happen to be in OKC this is something to do; and I understand that the local Okies come to the area for the sports events and concerts. A new big city park is in the plans to connect Bricktown with the Riversports/Boathouse area nearby.
