“Good value”
Reviewed July 15, 2010

We stayed here while in town with our daughter's softball team for a tournament. The rooms had been updated and were a great value. The breakfast was awesome! It included hot items such as waffles, biscuits, gravy. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The mattress could have been better. I prefer a firm mattress and it was definitely not firm. Plenty of hot water as all three of us could shower without running out. Lots of restaurants close by. We would stay here again.

The over all stay was very nice. Only downside was the 3rd floor where our room was had no cold water to take a shower we were able to shower after letting shower run for about 5 minutes and carefully adjusting the tempature, other then that its a good hotel. Not in a good location it is surrounded by all hotel/motels and resteraunts,it was however very convienent to get to downtown Oklahoma City with out having to use the highway. The room needs to have udated furniture and lighting installed but was quite comfortable,The AC rocked we had to actually turn it off,House keeping at this hotel is AWESOME,I being a small business owner of a cleaning business would gladly hire anyone of the girls from the housekeeping department!!!

We stayed here having arrived by coach. I know most people will be in cars but if you're not be prepared to traverse parking lots to get anywhere. That said, the hotel is pretty standard in most respects but our room was spacey enough to avoid feeling like the only thing you could do there was sleep. There are plenty of places round about to get a drink and something to eat and there is a small market at the gas station. As with a lot of hotels of this type it was quite a way from the more interesting areas of Oklahoma city but a cab could still make it in reasonable time.

The best part about this hotel was its proximity to the Oklahoma City airport. It doesn't get much easier, exit the airport and head North....That's all there is to it. Other pluses include proximity to eating establishments. Definitely not hard to find places to eat close by.

Hotel is standard 3 floor, 1970s vintage hotel. Long interior halls with all rooms opening into the interior halls. Carpet in the interior halls was dirty and the walls have seen better days.

Air conditioning was the standard outside wall unit type that is loud but not painfully loud. The room had a small couch, desk, small microwave, small refrigerator, king size bed and standard TV. The bathroom appeared to have been renovated and was nicely furnished. Only problem was bathroom door did not easily close. Bed was comfortable plenty of pillows too.

The room itself was clean and fairly quite (except for the air conditioner).

Breakfast was provided. Standard fare, bagels, doughnuts, cereal, coffee, juice and biscuits with gravy, apples, and oranges.

Plenty of parking. Easy access and exit. Hard to miss.

Only hotel in the area that had refrig, free breakfast and free wireless. Not the best hotel I ever stayed at, it was average. The maid service was awesome.

When we arrived the pool door had a sign that said it was temporarily closed, so we went up to our room for a couple of hours and listened to the kids whine and fuss about not being able to swim-- only to later see other guests in the pool and the desk clerk said it was fine to swim--but by then we were getting ready to leave for the evening. The fence separating the tiny pool area from the parking lot had been badly damaged and no attempt at repair was made during the 4 days we stayed. Several drainage grid pieces in the cement between the building and the pool were out of place and loosely scattered about. Some very sloppy cement repair had been done in one section of the building at the poolside and the adjacent section had large cracks where the building walls met the cement and needed repair. The three pool lounge chairs were worn with several large tears in the covering. There were other general maintenance issues: no baseboards in the hallway, the ice machine on our floor was broken, the hallway smelled musty and one of the ceiling tiles was covered with what appeared to be ugly black mold (our children had allergy problems during our stay). Several other ceiling tiles in the hall were loose, The door hinges needed oiling, the bathroom door stuck a little and the ceiling fan rattled periodically, waking us up at night. There were some kind of tiny gray bugs near the window and no matter how many I squished, more appeared. The room was generally clean, but when we first arrived I found a package of cigarettes and a lighter tucked between the mattress and mattress pad and one night we returned to find that the room stank terribly due to the fact that the bathroom trash (containing several dirty diapers) had not been emptied that morning, so at 11:00 at night when I wanted to go to sleep I found myself carrying out the garbage!

  • Liked — Convenient location, lots of restaurants nearby, nice breakfast, fresh paint & carpet, generally clean.
  • Disliked — Lots of maintenance issues, a couple of relatively small housekeeping problems.

I liked the stay we were so surprised because most places I bring my cleaner to clean out the tub and for some reason I did not have to ask for more towels I think it was great. My family and I plan to return soon
