“lunch buffet was really decent”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2014

i wrote a review on how poor this buffet was when i ate there on a sunday night. it was but i've got a couple of buffet coupons in the mail and ate there for lunch twice since and both times it was really decent. Still way too many fried food selections but other than that pretty good, decent salad bar and soups

“mediocre at best”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2013

I got a free buffet coupon in the mail for blowing money at riverwind. As it was free it was okay. I went on a sunday night. For salad all they had was some wilted lettuce and tomatoes they had obviously taken out of sandwiches that were out for lunch. The fried selection was okay and the sliced turkey breast was good . Only half the food trays were full. It is not worth the 16.99 price more like 6.99 with the quality and limited selections. For a casino the size of riverwind it is the worst buffet i have ever had at a casino this size and i've tried probably 100 casino buffets in my life, they could do a lot better with a little effort. If you are hungry for a buffet try furrs or the golden corral.

“It's a buffet...in a casino...”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2013

We'd heard somewhere online that Willows Buffet was 'the biggest buffet in Oklahoma.' Um, not true! It's actually one of the smallest buffets we've been to. What was most shocking though, was the man who took our money told us the food was mediocre, and 'you'd be better off getting a TV dinner.' Despite that glowing recommendation, we went ahead and ate there. It was ok. Nothing horrible, nothing to rave about. Lunch was just under $11, which, for what was offered, probably was fair, but I felt it was too much to pay for such run of the mill selections. We got there shortly after lunch started, so when we saw the turkey roast and the beef roast, and they were carved down to SMALL hunks of meat, we passed on them. The chicken tasted better than it looked. The potatoes/gravy were fair. soup selections were SO salty, I couldn't eat them, and I love salt. The salad choices were minimal, and the potato salad, chicken salad and third choice (no clue what it was) were all smothered in a heavy mayo dressing. Two kinds of fish, an overcooked chicken fried steak, a few Mexican choices, hot dogs, some deep fried veggies...not my idea of an $11. meal. Desserts, surprisingly, we decent. Not outstanding, but decent. We wouldn't even consider going back if it was free.

“August Visit”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

The assortment of food available and the quality of preparation and presentation do not match the price. The $5 breakfast, if you are a hotel guest, is a good deal. Unless you've got a casino freebie, the other meals are disappointing to say the least. Willows never seems very busy. They always seat us at a tiny table in a spot remote from the buffet, even though plenty of "better" tables are open. A nice perk is the free piece of Bedre chocolate on the way out.

“Good eats”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

Good food drinks and price for a casino buffet. Most nights they have a prime rib roast and shrimp. Fridays is sea food night with good crab legs all you can eat.
