We got a great group rate for a ball tournament so it's hard to say anything bad...... Rooms are great, comfy beds, cold a/c !! Nice tv and Internet easy to use. Great workspace in single king room. Pool nice and crowded with small kids. However, breakfast was minimal. Walked next door to Ihop. Elevator broke down twice in 2 days. Front door broke while there. TV didn't work in son's room, so they changed his room next day. Nice location, nice modern facility, but just not up to speed with everything. Would try it again with the low rate.

The service we recieved is always excellent, clean rooms, plenty of parking and the staff is the best. Our wedding weekend and the staff helped make sure everything was great. The roof was under construction and the workers were nice enough to hold off long enough for us to finish the ceremony out at the gazebo and we were very thankful to them for that

I had not stayed at a La Quinta in well over a decade - and I'm now wondering why not! The room was reasonably priced, and we really appreciated the layout of the room. The foot of the king bed had a long seat with a bolster that made it easy for guests from another room to sit and chat, and they had a desk/work-surface that extended the whole length of the room. The last is a biggie since hotel rooms seldom have enough horizontal space, and the space they do have is usually cluttered with those funky books and handouts hotels have. My only suggestion would be for them to move the lamp with the multiple outlets to the other end of the work surface so that the a person on a computer isn't right next to the TV and in the view of a person in the bed.

(I should have asked for another office chair to see if they had it - that would have made it just right for a professional couple to share the work surface. ) The only drawback was that the wireless was slow enough that streaming tended to stutter.

Instead of curtains, they had pleated shades facing the room and a roller shade for a blackout. These were much better than standard curtains that never quite line up right to block the sun.

Breakfast was standard La Quinta fare with wafflemakers and hard boiled eggs for protein but no hot eggs.

La Quinta's are pet-friendly, and we would hear an occasional "Woof!" as we passed a room so if this bothers you, you will want to avoid. As for us, we will be spending more time at La Quinta. (Sorry, Choice Hotels - this was just nicer for price.)
