Description: The original Miss Addie's is located in the Historic Smith's Drug Store at 821 West Broadway in Muskogee. The building was built in 1915 by Pharmacist Charles Smith and his wife Addie. The English style building operated as a drug store and soda fountain for more than 35 years. Reopened to the public in January of 1992, by Toby and Bernadette Feickert, Miss Addie's began as a tea room serving homemade lunch specialties, soups, sandwiches, and desserts in an atmosphere of fine antiques. As the restaurant began to grow the upstairs was renovated to accommodate private dinner parties. In September 2000, the pub was opened.

I have been to Miss Addies many times, and there is no question that this is the best place for a dinner in Muskogee. The owners, and the long term associates will do their very best to see that you have a very good experience. I am pretty sure that anyone who comes in can have a personal conversation with the cooking staff or ownership unless there is a very large party there for an occasion. Any un-evenness in execution is purely a function of how many unplanned larger parties are there.....otherwise, flawless execution. If they are able to plan things, everything goes very well. If not, tough to adjust the kitchen/wait staff, and things might be a bit uneven. If you can live with all of that, for a small town, higher end restaurant, Miss Addies is great and I love to go back again and again.

The service was great.

I ordered a salad and a reuben. The salad was wonderful but the reuben was a bit of a disappointment.

The atmosphere is wonderful and the owner was friendly and knowledgeable.

Miss Addie's is a real treat and a "not to be missed" place to eat while in the Muskogee area. In fact, if you're passing through, make sure you have a meal here. The food is excellent, the service is very good, and the menu has a lot of variety. It's perhaps the busiest non-chain restaurant in Muskogee, which tells you it's as popular with locals as it is with visitors. You may have to wait a few minutes for a table, especially during the lunch hour. The decorations are very Victorian and the atmosphere is ultra-cozy but relaxed. You'll love it!

I have eaten at Miss Addie's several times through the years and have had both wonderful and terrible experiences. When they are on their game, it's terrific. Other times, it appears they aren't trying. Obviously, they are wonderful enough times to have gained a good reputation overall. I agree with another reviewer that sometimes they try too hard to be fancier than they are. We need a fancy restaurant and they have the right aspirations, they just need to be more consistent in their execution. If they will, you truly will need reservations because their is not any competition other than Okie's for a really nice "occasion" meal spot in Muskogee. If someone really put in a restaurant in town the quality of Mahogany's or McGill's in Tulsa, a lot of money would stay in town. Miss Addie's has the potential.

My two best girlfriends & I decided on Miss Addie's for a birthday celebration. It was a weekday night, not to busy. Edmondson & friends was there and polite as ever. Even wished us a happy Birthday. The wait staff was wonderful. Very attentive. The meal started w/stuffed mushrooms, very good. All three entrees were wonderful. I had a stuffed pork chop that was tender & juicy. Both my friends enjoyed the entrees and then we shared a wonderful dessert. It's was a mix of berries & fluffy cream. They even offered to take a pics of the three of us together for our scrap books. All was a really wonderful experience. Not my first time at Miss Addie's. I can say I have never had a bad time or bad meal there, but this was def one of the best times. .
