We prefer to patronize local restaurants when we travel so often do not find restaurants that exceed our expectations. We were overwhelmed by the quality our meal at Ginos this past weekend. Living in a larger city than Muskogee we certainly didn't expect fare of the quality we could get "at home". The chicken florentine and my husband's clam sauce linguine were exceptional. Skip the salad as the lettuce was less than crisp but maybe ask for the house dressing to use as a dip for the bread - it was tangy, thick and spicy. Prices for most entrees were in the $10 range. The wines/chianti was of mediocre quality but priced accordingly at $4.25 per glass. I dare say the place must be known for the pizza as numerous folks departed with pizza boxes and the ambiance was along that line as well. This made our coin show weekend visit much nicer than we anticipated.
