“It is okay...”
Reviewed April 8, 2013 via mobile

I grew up visiting Marietta and was spoiled on The Hub (which is now La Roca's Mexican food) and I am sorry but the food is just okay. A few of the waitresses are really nice but some look at you and treat you like you are the biggest buzz kill cause you are in their section. The owner is really sweet but the food lacks flavor and not to mention sometimes you wait forever for just a burger. If you want good food, go to La Roca's right up the street. Their food is way better and so is the service.

“Great fried pies!”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

If you like "down home" this is the place. I am not a huge fan of fried pies but these are not the usual. I had the chocolate peanut butter and it was very tasty. I love the small town café atmosphere, if that is not your thing keep rolling.

“The Meal Was Worth Stopping For”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

While traveling on I-35, we again stopped at Joyce's Kountry Kitchen in downtown Marietta, OK. and had an excellent meal. Both the food and service were excellent, as it was with our previous visits. It seems to be a very popular "Community Restaurant" and is refreshing to visit because of the relaxed atmosphere and friendly local people. Now if you're looking for a restaurant that has all the "glitter and glass" and high prices of the modern big city restaurants this is not the place, but if your looking for good food, good service with good prices in a casual atmosphere, this is the place to dine.
P.S. They also have an "Indian Taco" that is excellent, but for some reason, it's not listed on their menu----------it's available but you have to ask for it.

“Excellent food”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

Joyce’s is a wonderful restaurant and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I have never had anything that wasn’t excellent. As was said previously, don’t let the outside fool you because the inside will delight you. I’m not sure about Chowdown20’s review. Perhaps he didn’t go to the same place as I am reviewing. As I said, the food is always good and no way resembles his description. I personally think Chowdown20 is the person who is rude for even making such a comment about the staff and family. I have always received courteous and prompt service. Perhaps there is more to the story for Chowdown20. They do a good business because they provide good food and service. Of course they do have the local customers but there are also a large number of customers who come from out of town to dine at Joyce’s. I highly recommend you visit Joyce’s and enjoy the food.

“Kuntry says it all”
Reviewed August 4, 2012 via mobile

If you want to dine on canned vegetables, frozen food, and grease - this is your place. The waitresses are rude and or mentally challenged or both. The owner is nice, but her help and family don't measure up to her down home country hospitality. They do a good business because there are no options. A fun place to people watch!
