The price we payed was that of a 5 star hotel, we had the Honeymoon cabin, aka a converted RV, which was 8 ft from the next cabin. We were informed when we arrived that we needed to do the dishes and take out the trash, the room would be audited when we left, and if we didn't do it there would be additional charges. When we arrived we had a 1/4 roll of toilet paper and an ounce of dish soap. Hiking trails as were advertised were not found, and there was at least 1.3 miles to Grand Lake. This place was a joke at best.

we stayed three days my child sit on a chair tried to charge us he is only 61 pounds . how can a child that size sit on it not even jumping or flopping on it. they sucked on towels and they gave us 4 blankets for six people. The lady running it was not there even after 10:00 they had a wedding that day and they told us to get everthing before 2:00 . My son could have got hurt in that stupid chair. The didnt give us a broom or a mop. They were stingy with the toilet paper only 3 rolls the whole three days. also everything in the game room takes quarter and most games were out of order. basket balls all flat and no volleyball. They suck to the max. worst vacation ever. Dont come here if you wont a better vacation. hot tub had weeds.

Room Tip: dont chose the family resort.

We stayed there over the Labor Day holiday, 2010. They've got several different rooms styles. We were in the cottage, and it was outstanding. The king-size bed was obviously of very high quality. The cottage was clean, and well-equipped. We prefer to cook for ourselves versus eating at restaurants, and the unit was well-designed for that. The property itself is set back in a clearing, with heavy trees all around, giving a peaceful, back-to-nature vibe. There's a huge patio, with a new salt-water pool. Lots of chairs, tables, and areas to kick back and relax. The staff was friendly, helpful, and available whenever need. I highly recommend this resort, and will return when I'm in the area next summer.

Stayed last week for a family reunion. We found it to be well organized and the cottages clean and well equipped. They were so helpful and arranged for all of us (30 people) to utilize their pavillian for our family meals.

This is close to the Grand Lake, which must be nice in the summer months. It is in Oklahoma, so the area is laid back and definately had a southern feel. The staff was just wonderful and I plan to make a trip with wife for a relaxing long weekend real soon.
