“Fantastic Resturant”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

GREAT SERVICE, GREAT FOOD!!! EXCELLENT ATMOSPHERE. You get to sit in a room with just your party of people that came to eat with you. Wonderful. The price is very expensive. But the food and atmosphere is worth it.

“Mediocre Italian Sauce”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

If you want a lot of food then this is the place to go. But I warn you if you are expecting a top quality tomato sauce then you will be disappointed. It is somewhat bland and mediocre.

“Great Food / Great Service / Reasonable Price”
Reviewed February 16, 2013 via mobile

What more can I say. The food was great. The service was just as good and the price was very reasonable. You might make reservations though if you're looking to go on a Friday or Saturday night. While you're there try the home brewed beers. They are amazing.

“No thanks...”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

I took my daughter to Pete's as a special treat while we were up in McAlester. We were seated at a tiny table facing an ugly wallpapered wall---seriously, it's past time for a remodel. The atmosphere is terrible! I knew the prices would be high, so I was prepared for that. (If you don’t already know, you can’t eat for under $40 for two people.) Our waitress was very attentive and provided excellent service. The appetizer of bread and cheese was our favorite part of the meal—which is kind of sad. We had plenty of food…it just isn’t that great for the price.

“Go for the beer, stay for the...umm...beer.”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

Went to this place with a party of 6 on a business trip and made reservations. Was seated in a weird small room with a sliding door, so it was private but cramped. The decor of the room reminded me of my grandma's kitchen but in a sterile, restaurant kind of way. Not comforting. The food is expensive and not that great. The spaghetti was eh and the ravioli was doughy and overcooked. I ordered the fried chicken which was supposed to be famous but was nowhere near as good as any local southern chicken place. Popeye's fast food fried chicken is a million times better.
The only thing I enjoyed about this place was the beer. This place had a great selection of local brews and a decent selection of many domestic microbrews. I tried the Choc Peach, a light refreshing beer brewed inhouse, and sipped off a friend's Yeti, a super dark high gravity brew out of CO. If you are a beer-snob or a lover of the brew, don't miss this place. Just don't eat here.
