“Cafe has Character to Spice Up the Home Cooking”
Reviewed February 23, 2012

This Western-themed restaurant in a barn (not a real one, but built to resemble one) is a fun find in rural Oklahoma. The walls are covered with photos of The Duke, John Wayne. There are more than enough to entertain you as you wait for your food. The place was really clean and the staff really nice (even though it was obvious that we were not locals). I had the generous portioned and well spiced taco salad with picante sauce and sour cream and it was quite tasty. My hubby had a hamburger and fries. He said it was delicious and had a good size patty. Not a healthy lunch, but a good one.

“Good Home Cooking”
Reviewed July 1, 2011

Llike to stop here regularly. The food is consistantly pretty good, and recent changes in staff make the experience a lot nicer. Most things on the menu are made from scratch, and the pies are amazing. Chicken fried steak and coconut cream pie are the main items of interest. Go and enjoy.

“Good Home Cooking in a Barn”
Reviewed October 20, 2009

We made it by Wheelers again this year, just in time for lunch (we always do). Happily, their home cooking is back to being among the best in the region. I always order the featured lunch; my wife usually orders from the menu. It does not take them long to serve up a good meal. Look for it on the east side of the highway as you drive through town (we always do). Sorry folks, there has been no hay or horses in this “theme barn”, just good food. {;-))
