My wife, daughter and I shared one of the mini lodge's with our friends and there two kids along with my sister and brother in-law. It had two bedrooms and a loft upstairs that fit perfectly for everybody. The cabin also had two bathrooms which was very convenient and was alot nicer than I expected. It had all the dishes and pots and pans you needed. All you really needed was your own food. There was also a retirement community on site as well but we all really enjoyed meeting those people as they walk there dog or swam at the pool. The owners were really kind and even provided hot dogs, chips and drinks for everyone to enjoy for free on the deck overlooking the beautiful lake. We rented a patoon boat for two days and loved it very much. The prices are very reasonable and we will definitly be back and would recomened this to anyone that want's to have a great time at the lake.

Room Tip: If you have six adults and a few kids or less the mini lodges were built not to long ago and are per...

You can't ask for a nicer place to spend a vacation on Grand lake. The people were friendly. The cabins are fully equipped. The amenities around the cabins have everything a vacationing family would want, fishing, games, laundry, BBQ pit small store, Wifi, Boat docks. What more can you ask for? The site was clean, so much so that the trash was picked up daily, as to not attract vermin . We had a great time and I would not hesitate to stay there again. However, this is not a "resort" in the way most people view them. Don't think of this as the Atlantis in the Caribbean. It is a quiet little place on a beautiful lake were to can relax and enjoy life. This is not party central.

The cabins are fully equipped, all you need to bring is your food. Lake front view is real nice. Enjoyed the hot tub. I would have liked having a fire pit by our cabin. I was disappointed that only access to the lake was the boat dock and that so many private homes were next to resort.

We spent last Memorial Day at Lee's Grand Lake Resort for the first time, and will be returning again this Memorial Day as well. "Resort" is a bit of an overstatement. Don't be turned off when you pull in and drive past several older mobile homes. The set up reminds me of a campground style, with modular cabins surrounding a playground area and pool. This was GREAT for our entire family as the parents enjoyed hanging out at the cabin or on the porch, but the children could play in plain sight and never be bored. There was plenty for them to do (pool, swingset, volleyball, etc.)

Our mini lodge had 2 bedrooms downstairs and a loft upstairs with 2 full beds and another bath. We put all of the kids upstairs and had 2 sets of parents in the downstairs bedrooms. The walls are thin, so expect to hear somebody if they snore loud, but overall this is perfect for somebody like me that doesn't want to tent camp with small children. The living/kitchen/eating area was open so it made it seem roomier, and we would put the kids on the porch to eat sometimes.

If you walk across the "Resort" you'll come to the steps down to the dock. These are difficult for small children to handle, so expect to make it an ordeal whenever you take them down to fish or get on a boat.

The "Resort" did also have wi-fi, but it was a very, very, very poor connection, so don't count on it if you have any big projects that need to be uploaded to work while you're there. It's slow and you'll probably have to walk over closer to the office to get a good signal if you need something urgently.

The patio out back is lovely. There are lots of seats on the wood deck which make it great for hanging out late at night to just relax.

The resort only had one or two tubes to rent, so we weren't able to get one when we were there because they don't keep many on hand. In town there were plenty but they were expensive, of course, so we plan to buy our own to take it with us next time. Hopefully they will get more tubes in the future to keep on hand for families that are coming from out of town.

Room Tip: If you have small children, you may want to select one of the mini lodges that is directly across fr...

made reservations in june for 4 days starting 10/12/12. No one told me of non-refundable deposit. I fell on 09/16/12 and injured my shoulder. called to cancel our stay, Their response was too bad. charged $138 to my credit card. Complained of total charge. My 1st night was booked at $117. They claim miscommunication. I say no communication. better make sure you understand the contract.

We have been to Lees Resort for the past 5 years in a row. It is an awesome place to relax and enjoy Grand Lake. Very Quiet. Very family oriented. We have always had a good time time when we have gone there. The staff is really nice and helpful. We rented a pontoon for half a day. That was awesome. We usually get cabin 7 which faces the water. For 7 of us to stay there cost about $250 for the weekend. I think that reasonable. Dont expect any parting here. There is a small store onsite. Quiet time starts at 10 pm..Which is very nice! I would highly recommend!

Too bad i didn't have a boat! (Unfortunately, a boat rental was barely out of my price range after the lodging arrangements.) There is a swimming beach within driving distance, which was more of what we were looking for, but nothing right there on the site within drunken-staggering distance. The cabins are great: clean, quiet, priced reasonably. The two-tier deck stretches to be as big as a handful of those cabins and has a fire pit off to the side (awesome!). The people are very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful - very easy to answer questions - even the stupid ones, even after the office is closed.

Room Tip: If you're getting one of the smaller cabins, make sure you don't need any doors shut. There...
