“Good food. Crappy service.”
Reviewed March 3, 2013 via mobile

Everyone's food was really good.
The service sucked. We weren't even sure who our server was. We had to ask for the appetizer bread, that we got after we got after our meals had been served.
We will revisit.

“Surprisingly Well Executed Italian Comfort Food”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

While the wine list was somewhat spare, Roma's had a cozy, welcoming vibe. Standard Sinatra and Louis Prima provided the aural ambiance for what appears to be a roadside diner with comfy booths that has been transformed into a quality continental Italian restaurant on Route 66. A couple of ice-cold Peronis paired well with the excellent, mushroom-laden chicken Marsala, a house specialty that is skillfully prepared with a deep and satisfying roux, served sizzling hot. The included salad was simple but ample with a lettuce variety and the signature house dressing, a melange of simple vinaigrette and house-made marinara. The friendly, accommodating service allowed a low-carb switch from the accompanying pasta to delectably prepared sautéed spinach with garlic butter infusion. This is a no-frills restaurant offering atmosphere well above its price point. Well worth the stop on the Mother Road.

“An unexpected find”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

I thought I was back in South Philly instead of western Oklahoma. This is a fine little restaurant, with an impressive menu and a kitchen that more than pulls it off. The marinara with the spaghetti and meatballs was well made and the three meatballs themselves were fine, though nothing special. The veal picatta included two large, tender cutlets with a perfectly done sauce just buttery and acidic enough and full of plump capers. Too bad a side of, say, sautéed spinach or broccoli rabe wasn’t available.

“Authentic Italian - never disappoints!”
Reviewed December 6, 2012

This is a family owned restaurant that serves authentic Italian cuisine - an unexpected delight in a western Oklahoma town. I have tried many items on their menu and nothing has disappointed me yet! The lasagne and stromboli are my favorites!
