A small and clean diner with excellent food and a friendly staff. Sit at the bar and watch them make your onion burger and fries. We rode up on motorcycles and could smell the onion burgers nearly a block away. If I ever get back to El Reno, I'll be sitting at the bar at Sid's again.

Tiny diner but full of good friends and fine food.I stopped by for a great breakfast, but lunch and dinner is served daily except Sunday. Sid works the grill and Lynn handles most everything else. Service is first rate and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. I would definitely return.

Decided to travel on part of The famous Route 66 and found this gem. Arrived just at the end of the lunchtime rush and it was still busy. What was great was they were not too busy to not welcome you and make you feel that they were glad you called in. The burgers and fries were fresh and well cooked and definitely tasty best burgers we have had since starting our trip. Staff were fantastic and even asked us to sign their guest book. As we left we proudly put our pin on their world map, from 2 very happy West Aussies.

We stopped in El Reno on our Rt 66 drive and read about the famous fried onion burger. Sid's is a small place and you might pass it by, but the food is great, service quick and prices very reasonable. Sid's son, Marty was cooking and stopped by our table to talk to us when he had a break and told us a story about his parents.

We came here hoping to try an authentic OK onion burger and were not disappointed!

Sid's is a tiny little greasy-spoon kind of place. It isn't anything fancy, but that's not the point. When we came in (around lunch time), it was quite busy. You may have to wait a few minutes, as there are a few tables and a small counter. Service was quick and to the point. I don't recall receiving a menu--we just read the board behind the counter and ordered from there.

The onion burger was very good, as were the fries (which come in a huge portion, so you may want to share). If you are passing through Oklahoma, I would highly recommend a lunch stop here.
