“Nice casino...no free drinks!”
Reviewed January 24, 2012

The casino is super nice and the staff and dealers were great. I've never been to a casino that doesn't have complimentary drinks for players...confusing.

“Another Great Evening Out on the Town”
Reviewed January 19, 2012

Well my wife and I again ventured out and spent one of those complimentary nights at the Choctaw Casino. This is very clever marketing because we always spend more than we normally would because we got the free night. Which means stay up much later and remember the parking garage is through the casino which makes it very difficult not to give it one more spin on the way out the door. My wife won lots more than I did this trip but man do we sleep good in those beds. It reminds me of ours at home, if not better!
The room is always spotless and doesnt smell like smoke. the shower is extremely large with soft water so be sure and not use too much soap it seems like it will never come off!
The towels are amongst the softest I have ever used away from home. The buffett is not that great variety is kind of pooor for such a nice place but the slots are hot and will keep us coming back!

“Very limited food option”
Reviewed January 15, 2012

There is nothing I like about this casino. Floor vent makes it very uncomfortable to sit when you are close to it. Food is really disapointing compared to other casinos. Small portions, unhealthy menu. Jackpot Java manager has no idea how to make caramel macchiato.

“Nice casino but beware of fees”
Reviewed January 8, 2012

The facility is very nice and full service. Note that there are two casinos on site - the South Casino as limited to no table games. most of the table games are in the main casino.
They did have $5 tables, which is nice in this day and age. However, there is a 50 cent fee for every hand (at least at blackjack) which they collect before each deal. This can add up over time. Also, drinks are not free (not that unusual, but just thought you should know.)

“Terrible casino for real gamblers”
Reviewed January 8, 2012

Don't waste your time. This place has the absolute worst blackjack players I have ever seen. No double deck games, no single deck games, and no No Mid-Shoe Entry games. They would rather have idiots come up and get in the middle of your game to ruin your odds than provide a fair gaming environment. Comps are also terrible. If you're an average player or better it's better to drive to Shreveport. For the money you save in paying the ante you can have a great weekend in Louisiana. One hour of blackjack costs you 50-60 dollars just to play. Play four hours in two days and you've more than paid for the trip to Shreveport.
