“includes a 5000 calorie breakfast”
Reviewed March 6, 2008

The property is older and has not been rennovated. The design includes a small swimming pool in a central, covered atrium with the hotel rooms around the perimeter. The room includes a free hot breakfast provided from the restaurant buffet line. The breakfast buffet includes biscuits, white gravy, pork sausage, and eggs but no fruit, yougert, oatmeal, juice, etc. such as more contemporary hotels offer. Bed sheets do not seem to fit the mattresses well and tend to come loose during the night.

  • Liked — the staff was very friendly and helpful to someone from out-of-town
  • Disliked — breakfast was too high calorie, high fat

Great stay from check in to check out. Free full breakfast, remodeled rooms with lazy boy recliner, beautiful atrium, feels like Embassy Suites, but better, next door to 24 hour McDonalds and Wal Mart Supercenter. Only downside was that the pool could have been a little warmer. I love a warm pool.

We stayed 3 nights over Memorial weekend and the hotel was full-up. Has a good indoor pool. Reasonable price.

However, the 'free' breakfasts were not up to expectations. The dining room very crowded (it is used by non-staying local folk for paid breakfast dining). They ran out of cereal on Saturday morning on memorial weekend with no more until the next Tuesday. So we had to buy cereal at the adjacent Walmart for our children for subsequent mornings. No bagels / danishes / toast on offer (although a forlorn and empty cabinet that looked like it should house such items). The only food was the the cooked offerings which we didn't want as we prefer a light start to the day. We lived off Muffins alone. They charge for the drinks (milk, juice, tea coffee) with breakfast, which appears to be nothing more than a ploy to encourage tipping of the wait staff (since this is a full service breakfast resturaunt for non-stayers as well).

They also require you to sign for pool towels that the room staff then take away from your room each day. We signed out nine towels over the weekend but had only five in the room when we left. Hope we don't get billed for 'missing towels'.

Check in took ages - front desk not very efficient.

Overall - acceptable value.

We stayed again at the Best Western The sevice was fantastic, the rooms were great. We stayed in a remodeled room it was beautiful. The hotel was extremely accomodating to us we were there for a funeral and they let us have a really late check out which helped with the changing of clothes and leaving the luggage until after the funeral. our kids had the room next to us. I will use this hotel again and again Thanks Best Western in Chickasha for a wonderful experience.

I absolutely loved the Best Western Chickasha. The pool was immaculately kept, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the staff was impeccable. The best feature, I must say, is the lounge, where I, being a karaoke lover, found the best karaoke show I have ever been to. The restaurant wasn't very good, but there are a lot of places to go just down the road.
