“Historic route 66 spot”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

I love hitting up route 66 places like this. It's really old, kind of tacky, and great for pictures. It used to be an old swimming hole, but you wouldn't want to go in the water now. It's on a pretty road, so if your driving by anyway, stop by and have lunch and read the history.

Finally got to see the Blue Whale featured in an Idiot Abroad. Love these quirky Historic Route 66 attractions.

“Just a cool little roadside attraction.”
Reviewed May 22, 2013

I don't know what else to say. There's not a lot to do here when it's not swimming season, but the blue whale is a cool, quirky little landmark that's fun to climb around on!

“One of the best on Route 66”
Reviewed May 13, 2013 via mobile

The Blue Whale of Catoosa, is a great road side attraction, and a must for all you road trippers, it's your trip so you decide how you feel about it, for me as a photographer it was a real treat, and a memory never to been forgotten. Stop of stretch your legs and soak up the atmosphere, remember you camera, it's meant to be fun. Thank you to the owners and the hard working volunteers who keep this attraction here, and I would love to be invited back, for a photo shoot. Lee Wood at Pendle Pictures

“Just a whale”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

It is just a blue whale, but it is on Route 66 so it makes it a landmark. I thought it was really cool as a kid.
