Stopped by Goldie's in B.A. this evening. Got there around 7:30pm so the place was starting to wind down for the evening. That's the best time to go in my opinion, because the dinner crowd is phasing out and the atmosphere is quieter and more peaceful. My server was attentive, polite and prompt. This evening I ordered an Angel Fire burger with regular fries and sweet iced tea. My order was on my table within 20 minutes. The burger was cooked to medium rare perfection and the fries were equally delightful. The iced tea was right on in strength and sweetness. No complaints whatsoever. I recommend visiting this Goldie's at a later hour after things have settled down. During the day its busy and you can barely hear the conversation with the person across from the table from you. But, this evening I actually was able to follow over three innings of the baseball game that was on the television in the main room. By the time my order arrived there were only 9 other patrons remaining. Three were waiting for carryout, a couple in the booth in front of me, a couple in the booth behind me, and two brothers across the aisle who were dining together while one was visiting from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. It was a very relaxed and pleasant experience.
