Good food, large portions, friendly staff, ordered a chicken fry steak sandwich and a side of mac and cheese, said they where out of mac and cheese. The cooks came through and I had mac and cheese. Great Job!

Once upon a time, this restaurant was on a frontage street of the BA Expressway and it was so good it was hard to decide what you wanted. Our fav's were the salad with fruit, the salad with strawberries, the Chicken Fried Chicken, and the scrumptious grilled cheese. Today I chose potato soup and a half of a chicken salad sandwich. For $9.99, the soup was flavorless and the sandwich was mediocre. The waitress was the same. Nothing bad, nothing good. Disappointed.

This is a family style Restuarant that has a large menu and great food. All the staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. They all make you feel welcome and you feel at home. They make these wonderful huge rolls that are warm when you get them. They also have a rhubarb sauce to put on them. They are great. You will not walk away hungry. Great place to eat!

We had:

1) Lemon Pepper Grilled Catfish (a bit light on the seasoning, but the fish was flaky and well cooked!), Fried Cabbage (needed a little more seasoning but still good) and Brown Beans (best I’ve ever had from a restaurant!!

2) Meatloaf (tightly packed meat but great taste!), mashed potatoes (3.5 out of 5) and fried cabbage (same review as above)

3) Pork Tenderloin (fantastic and very tender!), mashed potatoes (another 3.5/5) and macaroni and cheese (perfection.)

Sweet Tea was wonderful and the Rolls + Strawberry Rhubarb jam were sinfully delicious!

Worth the stop, for sure, and we would all go again!

When we arrived there was a bit confusion as to whether I seat myself or not. The restaurant is clean with both booths and tables. Be careful if you want a seat near the overhead TV's. No sound, but can be distracting depending upon the purpose of visit. There used to be a more family friendly atmosphere whereas now a mixed somewhat cold feeling of service. I would rate the food as good not great. It is like they had a consultant trim service and food quality to improve profits.
