Description: Buca di Beppo serves authentic Italian cuisine in an eclectic, vintage setting. Our dishes are served family-style, meant to be shared by everyone at the table. Two sizes are available: BUCA SMALL feeds two or more and BUCA LARGE feeds four or more. At Buca, guests delight in our lively atmosphere, enjoy the classic tunes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin and admire our decor, including family photos and candid shots of Italian-American icons, such as Sophia Loren and Joe DiMaggio. Our energetic atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff make Buca di Beppo the perfect place for great Italian food and fun.

Each year our children select a restaurant to clebrate their birthdays, it was our son's 18th & he heard that Buca di Beppo was the place to go...not! A friend of my suggested we sit in the kitchen having never dined there before, we probably would have gotten better service had I served us. When we left, still hungry, embarrassed as my son had a date join us, we ended up stopping by McDonalds because after a very expensive and terrible experience, a few of us left hungry.

The food is good. I like the family style dinning. For those who have never been family style dinning is where you order items for the table not the individual, just like eating dinner at home.

So, when asked if I would like garlic bread with a small portion of spaghetti, I said,"Sure!." No, I didn't ask how much more it would cost since it was just garlic bread. The garlic bread was a sub bun cut into eight sections with garlic butter and slightly warmed. The cost? $8.99! So, you now have an idea what to expect when you eat here...$$$$. I was seated promptly and the employees were friendly and courteous. The 'small' portion' of spaghetti could feed 2-3. The 1/2 lb. meatballs were nothing special-meat with a hint of garlic and an aftertaste of fat.

We have been going to Buca for years, both here in Worthington and in the Columbus Arena District. The service is often spotty, but we have never been disappointed in the food. For such a large kitchen, we have always found the food well-prepared and tasty. It was disappointing to find that the single-serving lunch items are no longer available at dinner, but that is Buca's loss, since we now order a "small" entree and split it. Even the small sizes are more than enough for two people, and we usually have leftovers to take with us. How any one person could consume one of these small entrees by themselves is hard to believe.

Wine list is pretty spotty, with lots of unknown labels, most of which have crazy mark-ups. But it is what it is. The Trebbiano white has been pretty good, but at twice the cost of retail.
