Sometimes "Old" has no connection to charm, nothing to do with tasty, and zero relationship to "Good."
This joynt has all the charm of a Greyhound bus terminal without the bus station's dining excellence.

Coccia House is old, true enough. But the pizza is some of the worst you'll find anywhere. They'll have to work hard to climb up to the quality of the "meh" pizza chains.

A delicious thick crust that's homemade daily. Fresh toppings and all homemade sauces. If you venture away from the pizza, the appetizers and other main dishes are quality Italian fare. We like a more quiet atmosphere so we go the back entrance and eat in the small dining room bar area. Better be there when the doors open at 5 PM or you may have to wait, a busy place. They sell "no bake" or "half baked" pizzas to take home. Great to serve at home. Closed on Tuesdays! I have. enjoyed this place for. over 30 years always the. same great quality pizzas.

Everyone always raves about the Coccia House here in Wooster.
For good reason, not only is it a pretty pie, the pizza is really really that good.
It is not a fast dine but it gives you plenty of time to catch up with friends.
What you will enjoy is the atmosphere and a full menu of authentic dishes (besides the pizza).
I already have in mind what my selection will be the next time I visit.
A family run business that has been around over 50 years and is successful should tell you something.
I want to add that the Coccia House is also one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been in.

There is no way to describe Coccia House pizza other than it's amazing. It is unique. A large pizza is 16" not 14" like all the pizza chains. They pile on the toppings. Their pizzas weigh twice what you are used to. I don't know how they make their crust, but it is different than anything you've had anywhere else. All the toppngs are actually under the cheese so ask for pepperoni on top (p.o.t.). It's just that much better. Also, these are baked in old style pizza ovens, not a conveyer oven. On an average night it takes 40 to 45 minutes. Fri or Sat it can take over an hour. They are that busy and the pizza is that good!
