“A great place to stay while enjoying Wooster”
Reviewed August 3, 2010

The home is beautiful. The room was charming. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The innkeepers were hospitable and accommodating. The location is an easy walk to downtown Wooster and a quick drive to the College of Wooster campus (and the Ohio Light Opera.) I would recommend it highly.

The staff was warm and welcoming as were the accommodations. The food and inn were superb. When we left I felt that I was leaving an old friend! I cannot wait to return!

Beautiful rambling old house with amazing wood--think veneer ceilings. Beds with fall into linens. Great breakfast--and served late, too, on request. Hostess couldn't be nicer. You'll love the Inn and the charming town it's in.

Wonderful bed and breakfast place to get away for a peaceful, relaxing change of pace. Nice rooms upstairs with lots of space downstairs for gatherings, if desired. Delicious breakfasts served by owner/hostess and great location near center of town makes for very convenient traveling.

Friendly, helpful innkeepers at a lovingly restored late-Victorian gem - with superb breakfasts! What more can you ask? We'll be back for sure.

We stayed in the Lincoln room in the front turret (east side of house) on a hot July evening following an Ohio Light Opera performance and we were delighted with the experience. The room in this B&B was spacious and quite comfortable with the portable air conditioning. It also features a walk-in closet, small balcony with chairs, an indoor sitting area in the turret and an extremely comfortable queen bed. The private bathroom is a short walk down the hall and includes a shower (no tub) which is fine with us.
The house is a wonderfully restored victorian with inlaid floors, large stained glass windows, lots of architectural details, and a deep veranda across the front (on which we had the most fabulous cocktail party after the opera-previously arranged with the owners).
The delightful innkeepers Jane and Alan provided cookies in the foyer, coffee upstairs in the morning and the most scrumptious breakfast (homemade scones daily are light and crispy and the corned beef hash was the best I've ever had).Although we did not use the spa services, we heard very favorable reports about a massage a relative had on a previous occasion (there is a room dedicated to this). This rates at the top of my B&B experiences and we look forward to visiting again.

The hospitality, service, rooms food and the location of the Inn were wonderful. Everything about the Inn was SUPERB. We had a FANTASTIC time with everyone that stayed there. The owners Allen & Jayne are the BEST host and hostess. They were always asking us if we needed anything. Jayne makes DELICIOUS fresh cookies and leaves them available all day long. The rooms are very neat and clean, and the beds are so soft and fluffy.
