My daughter and her husband met us at the inn for their first B&B experience and they are hooked now too. We all loved the care shown in the beautiful woodwork and walls in keeping with the time period of the home. The warm scones and gourmet breakfast met with all our approvals and we enjoyed visiting with the hosts who recommended places to eat. We sat on the big porch in the evening and they told us the history of the home as we relaxed. We would recommend this for antique lovers as well as those who enjoy a really good breakfast.

What a beautiful place to spend an overnight in Wooster! The period nature of this grand Victorian has been restored to glory. For an antique enthusiast it is a real treat to look at the details, warm wood and period furniture. The Lincoln Room has a little balcony and even a turret! Host Allan and Jayne are delightful - and were truly interested in discussing the nature of each person's visit to the town of Wooster. My daughter was there for an overnight to see if it was the right school for her, and it was! We'll definitely be back to this lovely gem.

My first experience in a B&B puts pressure on any in the future. The Market Street Inn is an old Victorian in impeccable condition. The original woodwork gleams a rich mahagony. My room was gorgeous. The old bathtube has a shower with a waterfall showerhead. The home is warm and welcoming. The best feature of the house is without a doubt Allan and Jayne. They are incredible hosts. The gourmet breakfast tops anything I have had in years. I absolutely had the most wonderful time. Allan told the rich history of the house. Jayne is a most gracious host. I loved it.

Room Tip: The Lewis room has an air conditioner for the hot days or nights. The room also is spacious and so i...

My son and I visited the College of Wooster and stayed at the Market Street Inn. Jayne and Allan could not have been better hosts in their beautifully appointed bed and breakfast. The accommodations are comfortable and classic. Vera Wang plush towels certainly were nice after a hot shower and coffee service before breakfast and lovely touch. Breakfast was outstanding as was Jayne's company during the meal.

Will stay there again for sure....now I hope my son chooses the College of Wooster just so that we have an excuse to stay with Jayne and Allan when we visit!!

We spent a few days at the Market Street Inn celebrating our anniversary. The moment I saw pictures of it on the internet, I fell in love with it and decided that was where we would spend our anniversary. We were not disappointed! The house is well decorated and quite charming. Allan and Jayne were warm and welcoming, eager to please and assist with any needs. Their attention to detail was amazing, providing all the comforts of home or a high-priced hotel (robes, toiletries, hairdryer, etc.) The breakfasts were supreb with home prepared scones, granola, French toast, eggs, etc. We stayed in both the Lincoln and Lydian rooms – both were very cozy and comfortable. We plan to return and have already recommended this wonderful B & B to our friends.

Room Tip: We stayed in both the Lincoln and the Lydian rooms and loved both. The Lincoln had its own private...

The Market Street Inn was fabulous! From Allan greeting us when we pulled in the driveway to Jayne sending us off the next morning, the stay was picture perfect. My room (the Lydian) was so comfy - fabulous bedding! - and the little attached bath couldn't have been sweeter. The house was silent (and I mean SILENT) all night. Breakfast was delicious, and Jayne made sure we were well fed! The house itself is picturesque - so charming. Any future visits to Wooster will most definitely be spent here!

Our stay at the Market Street Inn was meant to a be a special treat for my daughter and me in the middle of a week-long tour of (slog though?) colleges. It worked! The inn has been lovingly restored with beautifully painted molding,a claw-footed tub, and a supremely comfortable bed. The hosts were very gracious and able to adjust to changes in our schedule. The breakfast, as noted by many other reviewers, was scrumptious. As if that wasn't all enough, I was contacted by the owner shortly after we checked out because we had left something behind. We had already left the area, so she offered to send it home. Thank you!!

Room Tip: Loved the Bexley.
